I was down at devils hole last week, didn't catch anything but some guy fishing for muskie caught a little smallmouth.

I was actually surprised to see the number of people fishing from shore ABOVE the Devil's Hole Rapids. The water's really moving there, and it just seems like it would be a tough place to cast or drift baits. Not to mention the thought that kept crossing my mind - one wrong slip of the foot off those rocks, and a fisherman would be in the water with not much chance of getting back out. Seemed like a dangerous place to shore fish - not for the faint of heart!

 

Ya, my mom would keep telling me to get off of rocks, it was pretty fast.
