Catfish anyone?

Walking along my dock I looked into the water and noticed a black mass.

Looking a little closer, it was something I had not seen for a few years.

We see that every year in our marina at Glenrock (on Nipissing). The little kids catch mom a few times and let her go. She swims right back to her babies.

Interesting. I saw a few adult catfish swimming about something similar a few weeks back here in Peterborough. Weird because up until that point I wasn't even aware their were Catfish in the Otonabee here in Peterborough. It was getting dark, thought my eyes might be decieving me almost...
