Bigworm Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Hi, I recently heard that there is supposed to be a website that McGuinty was bringing in that specified the different species of fish in Ontario Lakes? Does anyone know about this or was I dreaming. Thanks, Mark
nancur373 Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 According to this site there is whitefish in Pigeon Lake. Is this true????
Christopheraaron Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) Probably, if you think about it lake simcoe is filled with them and the trent connects all of those lakes. But I'm not quite sure on the accuracy of other lakes, does lake simcoe really have brown and brook trout? Edited March 26, 2012 by Richmond Hill fisher
Moosebunk Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 Site has been out a little while. Not perfect with it's info and could use some fine tuning with some lakes, it's not a bad idea and it's a pretty good start. Hope they keep up with it. Something like this would be great if you could find a lake and get info such as stocking, when and how many fish, or even just accuracy with the species list.
Jer Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 Hi, I recently heard that there is supposed to be a website that McGuinty was bringing in Thanks, Mark Somehow I don't think he was personally involved...
fishermccann Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 Somehow I don't think he was personally involved... Why not , he gets blaimed for everything else!
Jer Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 Why not , he gets blaimed for everything else! ...I keep hearing it was all Mike Harris' fault...for some reason with Dalton, nothing seems to stick...but lets not get political.
