We've had a cottage near Carnarvon for 35 years just never really moved from the lakes around me. Looking to get out to a walleye lake this weekend and try my luck. Came home today. Was very cold the last 3 days. Surprisingly there was about 10 guys on Boshkung. The Clansman had two huts close to shore. A few guys with portables. No one on Halls.

Got out to 225ft. Everything worked SD/fly and spoons. 15-70. Just couldn't keep them on. 4/11 Started at 5:30 ended at 9:30.

Well, I had full intentions of buying a new boat this year until my neighbour/fishing partner decided on a beautiful 18.5 Lund. So instead, when I'm not fishing, I will spend a good portion of my summer on two wheels.
