monsterfish Posted September 24, 2011 Author Report Posted September 24, 2011 Fish of a lifetime! Wow...you might've looked a little happier in the picture, think of all the people who'll end up seeing that pic I was actually fishing by myself and the lovely lady on shore who took the pics did a great job, but she caught me off guard in that one. I chose the one that best showed the fish. Trust me I'm beaming inside! Thanks for all the kind words from everyone! Keep your hooks sharp!

ehg Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 51.5x20 Wow! That is an incredibly beautiful fish. Not many of the Kawartha strain get past 51.5 inches. Thanks for sharing.

Mike the Pike Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Congrats on the PB.Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
F_ast Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 I am having a hard time believing that is a Kawartha strain fish. I do not doubt you got it in a Kawartha lake, but that looks like a Simcoe/ Trent/ Georgian Bay muskie to me. Thick fish for sure. Looks like it has October mass already.
