Joey Posted April 9, 2007 Author Report Posted April 9, 2007 Your stories are always great to read Joey and you guys got some beautiful fish despite the nasty weather But could you please explain boinging, I'm not sure if I've ever experienced anything quite like that just before a fish strikes Lew, boinging is a natural phenomenon that happens when you lean your rod against something to continue fishing while you take your gloves off to try to light a smoke in -10 wind chill and notice, out of the corner of your eye, an up and down movement of your rod tip in a way that was not happening when you were just sitting there doing nothing holding your rod and watching it intently Hope this clears things up. Joey

easton13th Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 I get it ignore the rod,, ignore the fish and they hit! A watched rod never gets a hit... I will have to try it as other than the seagull I am on a skunk streak. But the season is young I hope......
