Harrison Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) Hey all, thought I would post the info about this show for those that may not of heard about it. Dates are Nov 26, 27, & 28 at the International Centre Toronto. Looks like a neat show. We have a booth in Outdoor Canada Hall, if you are attending the show please swing by and say hello. Outdoor Canada Show Link Roland "WHOA SON" Martin and Jimmy "The bowl cut" Houston will be there as well. Edited November 15, 2010 by Harrison
kickingfrog Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 I'll probably head down Saturday with my son as a test run for next years "spring" shows. I'll be solo, my wife goes down to Pennsylvania for Black Friday deals that weekend.
johnnyb Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 The presence of Roland and Jimmy doesn't improve the odds that I'll attend....but if Jeff (Gustaffson) and Gord (Pyzer) were there...THAT would get my attention. But they'll probably be busy hauling in first ice 'eyes that weekend.
misfish Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 You mean I might meet you finally? Friday will most likely be my day.
ohhenrygsr Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) Woot Woot, We will have a giant booth at the show as well. I'll try to swing by if i get the chance. I rather shake your hand then the boys down south lol. Edited November 15, 2010 by Henry Nguyen

fishermccann Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 I just went on the show link. Is there no archery dealers going? That sounds strange but the link shows none!
spinnerbaitking Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 I'm not sure but there is a really good chance I'll be Smallie fishing, family Christmas Saturday afternoon, hoping to get out in the morning or at least Sunday for the day, last weekend til the end of June Richard

Harrison Posted November 16, 2010 Author Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) Would it help the cause Phil? Would help with some material anyways!!! Here is one for ya Brian: The National Poetry Contest had come down to two semi-finalists: A Yale graduate, and a Newfoundlander. They were given a single word, then allowed two minutes to come up with a poem that contained the word. The word they were given was ' TIMBUKTU '. The Yale graduate steps to the microphone and said: 'SLOWLY ACROSS THE DESERT SAND TREKKED A LONELY CARAVAN. MEN ON CAMELS, TWO BY TWO DESTINATION - TIMBUKTU '. The crowd went crazy! No way could the Newfie top that, they thought. The Newfoundlander calmly made his way to the microphone and recited: 'ME AND TIM A HUNTIN' WENT, MET T'REE LADIES IN A POP-UP TENT. DEY WAS T'REE, AND WE WAS TWO, SO I BUCKED ONE, AND TIMBUKTU '! The Newfie won hands down. Edited November 16, 2010 by Harrison
