Took this creature off a 44" Muskie...I have removed many over the years but they are still just as ugly as the first time.

Yep that's a UGLY bugger for sure. I here some salt and pepper little oil and cast iron and you have a great snack there.

That's actually kind of neat. I'm guessing that's a silver lamprey (Ichthyomyzon unicuspis) as opposed to the dreaded (and hated) sea lamprey (Petromyzon marinus).
