alexcba Posted July 26, 2010 Report Share Posted July 26, 2010 i dont really mind them at all. i used to run a forum and advertising is money. be it a banner, or a single posting in a thread. plus its not like the ads aren't relevant to fishing or the outdoors.. i could understand if it was a snickers bar ad but lol haven't seen one of those yet. One of the ads was relevant to fishing. The other was about hooking up with males in my town. My wife might enjoy that but I think its just plain disgusting..... For your information, it was from your google ad banner. And the way it said "hook up" I assume it thought it was a fishing ad. I look at porn, that's what the internet is for. But it sure as hell isn't dude on dude..... And the wife has her own computer... Just fixed a virus on it last week. I'll clear my cookies and see if that helps. But it sure as hell isn't dude on dude..... if you type in something into your search engine on google it will track the things you search for most and show them to you in an ad on this and other forums that use google ads. not saying you search "dude on dude" but maybe if you've searched porn then it will hit any kind of porn, including the same sex variety.. atleast some dude on sheep ad didnt show up LOL! I would actually vote for a few more ads if it would fund something for all of the time the mods put into this place.
