LefroyFisherman Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Went out Sunday morning around 6 on Cooks Bay, caught 5 decent pike from about 10-11. Great Day
lunkerbasshunter Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 looks like some heatlhy pike you got there! Cheers!
Terry Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 looks like a good day I have been finding fishing cooks bay a little slow this year
LefroyFisherman Posted July 19, 2010 Author Report Posted July 19, 2010 Hasn't been too bad, few pike here and there and quite a few bass. Have you been fishing further north? how's that been?
Guest Johnny Bass Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 Some nice pike you caught there. I see the pike fishing is still thriving on cooks. Lots of bass you say? I assume Largies? Time to head there with the jig and pig! Thanks for sharing.
NAW Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 Nice outing man! What did you catch them on? I've never had much luck for pike on cooks
LefroyFisherman Posted July 20, 2010 Author Report Posted July 20, 2010 Thanks Guys, I've noticed the past 3-4 weeks that they are staying in the 15-20 foot mark. We caught all of them on an inline spinner.
Fish Farmer Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 Nice fish, you just saved some Perchies lives.
LefroyFisherman Posted July 20, 2010 Author Report Posted July 20, 2010 Sorry, catch and release always on pike, no perch are safe
Leecher Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 (edited) Nice gators LefroyFisherman What was the weapon of choice for them beauties??? edit: OK never mind my question.... inline spinners Edited July 20, 2010 by Leechman
