Weather !! -- You O.K.

Helped to motorists yesterday. One wrapped his truck around a hydro pole, other put her car in the ditch.

 

 

This morning, I drove 2 m way from a downed hydro pole, plow went beside it, I figured it would be ok, down the road found out it was 'live'. (better not do that next time, just incase)

 

 

Also, gave a farmer a ride to his house, had got his plow truck stuck twice, and his tractor was stuck in another driveway. Was walking to get 'the big one'.

 

 

Lost power last night, wife is at home keeping warm with the wood stove.

 

 

Not many people at work, I should have stayed home too. Roads weren't that bad though.

It's beautiful here in Toronto now, I just got in from walking the pooch and the sun is shining, the temps are going up and most of the ice has melted.

 

Quite a change from 12 hours ago.

Rain stopped here last nite 50f at 2 am, waiting on the snow colder and windy.

Ya, here in Ajax it was very nice out 1/2 hr ago, starting to cloud over, guess, I'll fire up the chain saw when I get home and help myself to some firewood.

Not bad in the Peterborough area. Lots of snow last night and then light rain on top but today roads seem to be ok and haven't heard of many problems.

I did a round trip to Oshawa and back today, left here at 6am. Roads were wet but good going all the way both ways, suns shining here and you wouldn't know I had 5 or so inches of snow and ice pellets last night.

Mild and still snowing. I didn't have to go out but will have to shovel tomorrow morning. Had to cancel my cabbage roll cooking morning with my best friend.
