JenDomEm Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 Our Dearest Friends, In this troubled world it is refreshing to find people who still have time to care. Time to be kind. Time to remember. People who still believe that the more you give, the more you truly receive. It is to people like yourselves described above that I struggle to find all the appropriate words to express our extreme gratitude for all you have to done to honor my late husband Sonny’s memory. Please know that your kindness and caring play such a big part. A thousand thank you’s doesn’t even begin to express our gratitude during this difficult time. You all have touched our lives and Domenic, Emma, and myself sincerely thank you all for your generous gift. Every tear is a prism through which I see, A rainbow of emotions and memories, Though fate has led you to another place, True moments hold meaning time can never erase. Sincerely, Jen, Domenic and Emma Amalfi
TJQ Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 So I assuming all paperwork has been signed and is in place, and your welcome, its what "family" does!
JenDomEm Posted January 9, 2010 Author Report Posted January 9, 2010 I have the papers and will be sending them out this week. Thank you. I hope I am sending this out to the right place, I have never used this site before, Sonny always had it on though. : )
lew Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 Sonny was a great guy, an asset to this website, and will be missed by many, and it was our honour to offer a bit of assistance to you and your family Jennifer.
JenDomEm Posted January 9, 2010 Author Report Posted January 9, 2010 Thank you Lew we appreciate all that you have done!
John Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 I first met Sonny at a pub in Grimsby. He and Bernadette joined us on an OFC wing night and we hit it off immediately. Jen, it was indeed a pleasure to honour his memory.
Rich Clemens Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 (edited) Jen: I have to think that we too have experienced the great joy giving really is and to be part of of Sonny and his family. I've never met Sonny myself, but it is easy to tell just the kind of man he was by reading all the posts on OFC. Indeed a pleasure. Edited January 10, 2010 by Rich Clemens
irishfield Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 It just what friends do Jennifer.. no thanks needed or expected. Wayne
