You catch more steelhead in a day than I do in a season out here in the east end...LOL. Hopefully get one more outing with you before the big freeze up! Anytime buddy. Oh I don't know Mike, I think the only thing worse than reading one of your reports for me at this time would be not reading 'em. I'll tell you though, reading 'em is almost as good as actually being there. Thanks. Personally I'm looking forward to getting out with you when you're up and about bud. Something to look forward to. Thanks everyone for the replies!

Evan Gallimore Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Most important tip to catching that many fish, GO SOUTH OF THE BOARDER I dunno if it's worth payin the extra $$$ for the american license this year since they nearly doubled it!
solopaddler Posted December 3, 2009 Author Report Posted December 3, 2009 Most important tip to catching that many fish, GO SOUTH OF THE BOARDERI dunno if it's worth payin the extra $$$ for the american license this year since they nearly doubled it! Not true I've had many great days on Ontario trib's this fall included. Yesterdays trip up north was a prime example. The most important tip is in fact for one to broaden their horizons and be willing to go wherever the conditions dictate. Doing that you'll catch numbers of fish consistently and not be at the whim of the weather gods. Be proactive.
