TJQ Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 Got Avery to take Monday off so we could head up and see what effect we could have on the bush chicken population, and maybe bump inot a calf moose or deer at the same time. We got up to camp before dark on Friday, and went in with an inch of snow on the ground. Saturday was cloudy, but Sunday was likely the best day we've had all fall, we managed 9 birds over the course of the weekend and put a lot of mileage on the bike. heres some pic's. Hoping to head up one last time next weekend with the wifey!!

dave524 Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 Good shooting, They are my favourite upland bird but are in serious decline in the south. Don't let the Walleye anglers tell you they are Ruffed Grouse.
