Other than right at th lake i don't know of anywhere to easily drive/walk up to...?

CLofchik Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 Old Mill dam on the Humber is good for watching. Petro Can park by Rebecca St. would be your best bet on Bronte.
cram Posted October 7, 2009 Author Report Posted October 7, 2009 Thanks guys. Pier is cool but is anyone catching anything there right now? Assume its very infrequent at best? Petrocan park....is that north of rebecca?
[email protected] Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 Its been slow the last few days... unfortunately.. If you want to goto Petro, plan to park like a kilometer away.
vinnimon Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 petro can park is just north of rebecca st,there is an old wooden sign and a laneway beside a house.Parking down below, and a trail along the creek past the soccer field. Bring boots, can get a little muddy. The old tree hole upstream is a good spot to relax and watch the salmon.cheers
Fang Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 In the next few weeks or so Petro Park gates will be closed for the winter. In the last couple of years it's always happened around Moose hunting time. There's still fishing to be had around the rivermouth but it's been slow for the past few weeks
