Okay.. now I'm really ticked... Ron, Keith AND Bunk went to Nip and neither party called so I could drop in !! (good thing as it would have been another blow for me since I wouldn't have been able to go!)

Don't feel bad Wayne. I knew that they were all there and never made it either, despite being only a two hour drive for me. We'll make up for it next year.

Thanks for such a great report Ron. Glad you fellas had such a tremendous adventure. Specks really are the most beautifully-coloured fish we have to enjoy. Hope to see you on Simcoe sometime this fall time/weather permitting.

Hopefully things will be better for me next year as well Dan and we'll have a reunion of sorts. :D

Wow! nice work Ron...rome serious miles travelled, but I think the reward of the amazing scenery, wildlife, and more imporantly FISH! made the trek worthwhile.

That part of the world is definately on my radar, and I hope to have nipigon pike and specks crossed of my list in the next few years.

Thanks for sharing some great pictures, and story.
