Okay, I'll admit it, I'm land-locked (usually) when it comes to fishing. It just makes it all that more special when I can get out on the lake to fish in a boat.

Our first watercraft was a 14' canoe....donated by fellow OFNer Basskicker....we use it for small marshes, or protected bays where no boat launches are nearby. We got this in the summer of 2007.

 

Our first ever fishing boat (bought in Oct of 2007) is a 1983 14' Sea Nymph, with a 1983 Merc 18hp.

 

Truth be told though....our biggest fish have been caught from shore....probably because we are still learning to fish from a boat....or maybe it's cause we just suck at it....LOL.

i have a 16.5 Alumarine with a 25 year old yamaha 30hp 2 stroke, its old but has verything i need....would like a 40hp yamaha 4-stroke for xmas though.....lol

My boat and motor only cost $1200.....add 800 for a brand new trailer and you're on the water. There are deals to be had out there! Start simple, until you know exactly what you want down the road.

I've got the 14' aluminum Filth Hound of course,

 

and the 10 foot Bass Hound, which was cool at first with running lights, livewell, etc.. but has deteriorated into a floating raft with a motor mount, lol.

 

I've got a float tube too, but rarely use it. Not a big fan of fishing alone.
