AzuluSpookd Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 Went down to the Detroit River and stayed at a buddies house. Launched in the AM and 3.5 hours later, we had our limits....18 fish for 3 of us.....before the 60 k an hour wind gusts arrived. Awesome fishing.Mmmmm.....Walleye...... Check out buddies amazing hunting dog....absolutely gorgeous dog.

Sinker Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 A good lab will retrieve anything you want!! Nice haul!! Sinker
Clampet Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Wow! Nice haul, restores my faith that limit of walleye can still be filled.
splashhopper Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 one of my fishing buddies has german shepherd that he brings with us on the Maitland river. A few advantages for us when he brings Rex. 1: The dog goes in to the water and retrieves the fish better than I do at the shore. 2: Keeps other fishermen away from crowding us on our favourite spots. 3: Keeps the boredom at bay when the bite is off. 4: Scouts the deer out of the bush ahead of us on our walk in so i don;'t get the CRAP scared outa me in the dark.
