Rizzo Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 I'm hoping to sleep in (although the kids will have something to say about that...quite early and loudly I'm sure). I have zero fishing plans on the horizon until we see some ice.
fishindevil Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 my bud and myself are fishing new years day in a 12ft,aluminum with an electric motor on the back, since there is no ice we figured might as well use the little boat who would of thought on jan 1st we would be out in a boat on scugog
jediangler Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Fishing? Yes, I suppose you could call it fishing. The Impaler and I are going on our yearly ritual on New Years Day. We go to a nearby conservation area where they lower the water by 8 - 10ft. Then we hit the stump fields looking for snagged lures. After replacing the hooks and split rings, they are ready to go. These lures are already lucky, because we found them and they're free, so our confidence in them is high.
nautifish Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Well i was contemplating on hitting a lake up north with the tinny this weekend. Just gonna keep an eye on the weather and if it stays fair thats where i will be headed tommorow or sunday as long as i am not up all night at the OFC swill......lol. I plan on fishing right through the whole weekend.
Canuck2fan Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 Picked up my license on Friday so I am good to go if the weather looks promising. I hope to be fishing the rivers that are still open for a couple of hours before I have to work in the afternoon. If it is raining I will just have to wait till the 3rd to head out...
