I really miss Harry Neale. He made me laugh countless times. Some people just have that. I liked him with Joe Bowen, they had a great chemistry. As for Bob Cole, give the man some credit. When Foster Hewitt was calling the summit series on television Bob Cole was calling it on radio. The man has been doing it for a long time, and with class. There is a certain way a hockey game should be called, the way in which the commentator adds to the game by following the tensity level of the play with his voice. Bob Cole had that in spades for 35 years. He did not draw to much attention to himself either, he just called the game. I wish some of the guys out there now would just call the game, but they are way too interested selling themselves and not the game. Raise your glass to Bob Cole, he might not be bringing his A game at 77 years old but we will miss him when he is gone. And nope your kid could not score on those goalies.

Burke thought he was giving away a 10-16 pick this year and a 19-22 pick next year. Along with the second rounder. The leafs crapped the bed. He did a nice job of clearing house though. I think he was referring to the islands people in particular. I was once asked by a woman in her 50's while fishing around the islands (she was on a dock drinking a wine spritzer at 8 am) if hurting fish made me feel like a man. I do not think he meant Toronto people in general. Lake of the Woods or Lac Seul for me.

I use one of my walleye jigging rods. They are perfect. If you listen to the fishing shows you will have enough rods in your boat to bloody well sink the thing, and you will only have to tie 20 knots a year. Lol.

I think the best deals are in the fall when the in stock boats come off floor plan.

If I really gave a crap about this type of thing and I was really offended at such horrible actions, I would go down and snoop around, talk to the guy all nice like and find out his intentions ( whatcha fishing fer). If he said pike, then we would have a bit of a conversation about it. I would either educate an ignorant person or have a rather nastier conversation with a poacher. Funny thing is, whether it is your business or not he would end up having to tell you he was fishing for browns. In turn, you would end up learning something, whether you deserved it or not. Poacher to teacher in ten minutes. If you don`t mind riding the elevator for a 30 seconds. This is why license plate reporting does not hold water, because the reporters often do not hold water.

If you are mounting it on the gunwale make sure to put a backing plate underneath. See if you can avoid putting them at the back corner.
