  1. 5 to 10 years old likely. They are only fun till you shoot them, when you have to drag them out of the bush it is all work.
  2. I had a 99..sold it in end of 05 for $1200 to a friend...
  3. Nice trip...I'm taking my boat deer hunting this year
  4. Move up to a 500 fan venture and put a 1 1/4" track on it. Very reasonably priced sled and just as reliable but you will never run out of power. I ran mine with the trail guys for years, throttle squeezed to the bar for hours on end and not a wimper out of it
  5. I had one for a number of years, and all Yamahas are dependable
  6. Draggers should be outlawed. It is a very destructive way of fishing.
  7. thankya Dan. Sometimes this forum just won't accept a picture from me. Something about scripted tags..beats me. I do the same thing a few hours later and it works just fine
  8. 06 Yamaha 4 stroke with 12,500 k http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u150/Da...ed1blanked1.jpg stupid site grrrrr
  9. I skip the float and use a 3 way swivel. about 3' of leader to the hook and 6" to a pencil sinker off the other eye. Cast it out and bounce the sinker along the bottom in the current.
  10. I'm guessing a 56. i had one just like it in an 18hp. I tossed it in the garbage after it let me down one to many times. I used to pull my guts out on that motor
  11. There is one BPS in Canada so far...the second one isn't gonna be in Sault Ste Marie
  12. There are no good spake lakes around here
  13. I use worn snowmobile runners on mine. put them on upside down. They are U shaped and the bolt head sits inside and you don't need to worry about countersinking. Go to a snowmobile dealer and ask for them. As for skis on a large shack, we use a ski made of 2x8's or whatever, then you get crazy carpet and cut it down the middle, then wrap it around the ski and use roofing nails to hold it on. lap it in the proper direction like shingles so you don't rip it off.
  14. Congrats on a fun day of fishing. These posts are a good way to keep people from posting pics here. Why does somebody gotta get ragged on just because he kept a couple of fish. This is a fishing forum. Nobody knows how many were in the party, but half of you have the guy convicted for breaking some kind of law. kids nowadays, PS, I bet he is laughing his tail off at ya right now
  15. If the CO comes by, you just tell him its your trained Muskie. Watch, when I put him in the lake and let him go...he comes back......
  16. Thats for snowmobiling
  17. I think the north shore of Superior is as good as any, especially for the cost.
  18. OK, done now, last time I went there it said voting was closed and she already won
  19. The reviews are confusing. Its rated as almost a great deal, but it doesn't work worth a crap I have a catalytic tent heater that works just fine. those things seem kinda mickey mouse gadgetry to me. Keep some ventilation no matter what. I lost 2 friends by them tarping their truck cap and sealing it while running a heater. You know how much of a bummer it is to lift the hatch on a truck cap and see 2 young guys laying there dead.
  20. I was too late...she already won
  21. I'll look but i hope my wife doesn't catch me at that site
  22. or you have a note from your mom
  23. Further to my post a few days ago where the game warden had the OPP take the native to jail for outsanding warrants and was left to deal with a dead moose himself. The non native guy hunting with the native was required to help get the moose out of the bush and transport it home for the native. Wait, I deleted that post. OK, a guy hunting with a native, native shoots a moose, see's game warden, shows ID, warden runs him on puter and calls OPP due to outstanding warrants for arrest. Non native hunting buddy and CO's left to deal with moose in bush. They spent 8 hours getting the damned thing out and home for the native so as not to let meat spoil. You can haul the moose for your buddy
  24. I can't see where it says there are walleye, it just states the season...am I missing something?
  25. Olive oil is better for you
