  1. Send them a letter saying you paid the taxes at the border. It will take years for them to respond.
  2. Just pay the tax...how else will the free babysitting...errr..full day kindergarten, get paid for
  3. I hope they are better trained than home inspectors or its a waste of money
  4. Thats why I'm changing up this year. I keep my sled maintained. Boogie wheels, sliders, oil and greese. 17,000 KM and its time to go new. I do 3,000 km a year and don't like downtime when the trails are good. My old one will make a great sled for somebody that wants a few rides and fishing trips a year. Big thing is you gotta go over them and do PM. edited...if you know guys breaking yammie skids and shock mounts they gotta be treating them rough Just got the boat out of storage today though. Hooked up the water hose and one touch of the key and it was running. Ready for the weekend.
  5. I think thats a litle bit different
  6. tHATS A cat for ya
  7. Blanked out or not...I know that stretch...nice fish Big B still has ice but it will be gone by next weekend
  8. to get to your question. Talking engines 15,000 km is a fair bit for a 2 stroke sled. It is not a lot for a 4 stroke Yamaha. The rest of the sled is still a sled and it is also a fair bit of milage. If it has been well maintained then its not a big deal. If it has been rode hard and put away wet, its a different matter. I have an 06 4 stroke for sale with 17,000 knm that I wouldn't hesitate to sell to my mother.
  9. Arctic cat..bullet proof....you're joking right
  10. OK, how many of you that are against the registry are still gonna vote liberal so you get others to pay for your babysitting
  11. My exhaust valve leaks once in a while too....the wife slaps me every time she hears it
  12. So, still kinda slow eh..oh well...its all fun
  13. You can't borrow a gun without a Possesion license and you can't lend one to somebody if they don't have one. There are no exceptions for if you are at a range. Even when you take the course they disable the gun for you to learn handling. Thats the whole system...you gotta have a license...police check and references and all that...the registry is just so they know how many guns you have after you get the license
  14. The Liberals don't even know the laws concerning guns. I was at a Construction association Barbque at our local gun club a few years ago. They had a little skeet shooting tournament and our liberal MPP was there along with one of his cohorts from Hamilton or something. He was labour minister at the time. I know that the local guy did not have a PAL and the way the guy from the south handled a gun I'm fairly certain he had never held one before. They both participated in the shoot...you know, just for fun. But both of them were totally breaking the law by even picking up a gun....and they didn't even know it. As far as the registry...its junk to me. My daughter in another town has a PAL and can borrow my registered guns any time she wants and keep them at her place forever as long as they are registered to me. How does that help any cop that gets called to her place...Nope...no guns registered there...lets go in guys. And then Tony Martin our MP says. I know my constituents don't want the gun registry but the Chiefs of Police ASSOCIATION..you know, their club, likes it so I will vote for it...I know better than the children that voted for me
  15. I think we're getting more instead...they may start grooming the trails again
  16. Sorry guys. I figured my location would explain it. Harmony creek runs into lake Superior about 30 miles north of the Sault. There are plenty of places for smelts around here. We have lake Huron, St Joeseph island has a few creeks they run in earlier and lots up on Superior. You can follow them as they run. Huron first then Superior a week later
  17. Snow here this weekend. The lakes are all still solid. I just got an invite for smelts that I'm going to try for though...fishing is fishing
  18. I was hoping for a nice weekend. I am going to North bay to visit my daughter for easter weekend and wanted to get some work done around her house. Hey. are there smelts running there yet?
  19. He was a great guy...my condolences
  20. 6" of snow today and everything is frozen solid
  21. Sometimes when the fishing gets slow we start the motor and idle it for a minute to stir things up and get the fish biting again. Even in winter we will run a sled around the holes.
  22. If you have enough money to fly in, you can do whatever you want
  23. Deepest condolences Dan
  24. Harmony creek is always good
