  1. Great report with different presentations explained for Quinte walleye, this alone is fantastic. For an episode shoot on In-Fisherman with Doug Stange makes it that much more incredible. Thanks for this
  2. Nice sturgeon, i assume they are not caught that often in the Niagara. The other fish aren't shabby either except for that one with face mashed Cool gift from your parents
  3. Truly impressive catches! The brown trout is a real beauty Those walleye are remarkable and HUGE! You both have really discovered something unique by consistently being able to catch those pickerel. Really have enjoyed them being posted over the years. Awesome

    Brilliant

Good luck with your patent attempt SNAG, great artwork in that link. Kinda reminds me of time ran into you at harbourfront. You with all the fish-me with none
  5. Wow, some real nice fish there! That last muskie is really chunky. Those waters are usually frozen by now aren't they? Great late season fishing
  6. Started a thread here about a month ago after seeing some Mehsikomer videos on Youtube. http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.p...t=0&start=0 Did watch the show and enjoyed it about a decade ago. Everything he caught was huge whether it was pike, muskie or lake trout. Topwater musky fishing is the coolest and tough getting a hookset. Certainly is a tough crowd around here.
  7. Nice fish! 42 feet of water is deep for pike.
  8. Kind of refreshing to see an eastern trib report, they are few and far between these days. One fish an hour isn't what you would see stateside i guess. Why don't they do stocking here?
  9. Likewise. Between Canadian Tire and Loblaws everything is available and better quality and cheaper. Whenever at Walmart felt like i was cattle being herded and exploited.
  10. Tons of info just in the pictures That second brown has a weird blind looking eye Thanks!
  11. Nice fishes, that brown has quite the developed kype. They develop that way as a way to show dominance, ready to spawn. Very healthy, clean looking fish!
  12. Throwing small spinners and spoons at rivermouths and estuaries has always been productive for Great Lakes fish. Even caught lakers, smallies, walleyes etc. The floats/roe seem better in the winter in this area at least back in the day. Seems this popping is popular! kinda like snagging but not often discussed.
  13. Had the same symptoms back in March of 2001. Went to doctors many, many times and they came to no conclusions. Finally i had a brain MRI and went to see a neurologist who said with great indifference "Maybe you have Multiple Sclerosis, i don't know". Turns out i did have MS presenting itself. Not that anyone reached this conclusion until i saw an opthamologist years later who said this was the case. Now it has created disability. Hopefully you don't have ALS but be persistent in getting a diagnosis, unfortunately few will care but you.
  14. With the season being open in FMZ 17 until mid-December (starting 2010) and ice usually being on lakes well into April, It is still very similar except for panfish through the ice. Maybe some pike are in Balsam aside from that...
  15. Simply should have said this Mike, "well written great fishing story". Thanks!
  16. Very nicely written there Mike, reminds me of a Field and Stream type article written by the Marlboro Man. What i noticed when reading the post, was the depth of information to be gleaned. By paying attention to the details and putting out that physical effort needed, you found success. Very nice There is so many fish that day one swam through your legs, just noticed.
  17. Maybe you can catapult that turd from your avatar and shoot it.
  18. Now that you have a decent float setup, you need to be where the fish are. Most folks go to New York state since the Great Lake tributaries are heavily stocked with fall running bows. You are already off to a great start with that rod and reel.
  19. Great report as usual, lots of different species to be caught here in southern Ontario. Your fishing needs will be met down here as well, looking forward to some musky reports in the future.
  20. Perchers walleye is huge The other fish aren't bad either, looks like a good time was had especially with the nice weather.
  21. Further congrats on that HUGE walleye! Maybe you can get out for more soon, it has been like 5 yrs. or so since Rick was catching those and posting reports. Nice going again!
  22. Try coating the roast with minced garlic for cooking once the bacon recipe is followed. You can never put to much garlic or cracked peppercorns on a roast, i would kick the salt up a notch as well. Bon appetit!
  23. Thanks for the write up and pictures! Was like reading an article in a musky magazine, quite the information. The black mark/spot on those muskies gill plate make them the same one.
