A cheap Shimano is worth more than any ABU, I have 4 baitcasters & 1 spinning ABU & won't be buying any more (bad experience), I have too many Shimano's my buddies tell me and 2 Quantum PT's & 5 BPS Extreme baitcasters bought 2 for $39.99 this spring Regular $109.00, if you have a problem with Shimano they stand behind it & you send it to Peterborough for repair. Ask on here or Post in the Classifieds on other forums Richard

All year all I've heard is people complaining about the weather every day or 2 it's changing, once we get some stable weather the bite will be on, my father & uncles have told me for 30 years if your going to fish for bass find 72 degree water and you'll find feeding bass, I've found them from 6" to 10' of water spinnerbaits, crankbaits & x-rap jerkbaits, river fish don't seem to be affected as much Richard

When I 1st thought of fishing for Musky all I read was if you want to catch Musky fish for Bass, so I bought a few Spinnerbaits and paddle down the river, 1st Musky and biggest was caught on a 1/4 oz Spinnerbait $2.50, then I joined a Bass Club and had a pretty good year the 1st year throwing pretty much just spinnerbaits at the 1 Tourney my Non Boater new the lake pretty well & told me I should change from my White Spinnerbait hut I didn't we ended up winning the tourney & I caught big fish to boot & at the time I had about 250 of them from $2 to $20, some of the guys still give me a hard time about only throwing spnrbaits but I throw Cranks & some plastic now Richard PS: I know :blahblah1:

Nice pictures and a great report, nothing beats taking the kids out & having them on fish Richard -
I don't believe in making it mandatory but youth of today definately need some thing to start them out right, Maybe pick stones & help bale hay for a summer, I've been an adult leader in Scouts & an Adult advisor for a up to 64 Kids in an Archery club, now a 4-H leader of a Fishing club about 30 members, kids need rules that are enforced and they need things to keep them busy Richard

I traded a Minn Kota PD 50 for a new Motor Guide 75 Wireless 24 volt and 6 hours seems to be about the length of battery power and prop stops, the MK 55 used to last me 2 days & some times more of the same fishing, I'm thinking the batteries should last longer, any thoughts, I always had 2 batteries hooked up before in line Richard
