  3. always love the vids limey.... would love to fish there one day as well..... makes me want the ice even more now lol
  4. pushes his stuff way too much... a good angler still.... its funny how he gets M. Laz to take him out though... guess those big gals arent as easy to catch without using and going to Canadian waters
  5. wortH evEry last penny you ask....lol... wEll I tell you.... yes. thanks again there Bob!
  6. I hope we have the same vision of culling when the Asian Carp comes..... will we feel bad when we wipe them out?
  7. I have the LX7... at the start I was an ok fan of it, after the new OS put on I loved it. I had the Hummingbird top of the line before and sold it... only problem is that it is so bulky.
  8. dont get me wrong that is a nice fish.... a 40lber yes... a 58 lber.... lets get real
  9. I was at the ganny yesterday.... me and a bud were fishing and all of a sudden an old man came and had taken my net walked up the river and started to scoop fish out of the water !!! lol I was not amused and told him about the MNR.... he replied with "they were here yesterday... and back in the 70s we were allowed to do it". I asked for the net back but we did let him try and net one of our catches (he missed and knocked the hook out lol) The amount of snagging is crazy down there... the US is the only other spot that puts it to shame.
  10. if I am gonna take row it will be from the US side where the cookie cutter fish are 'produced' and not the naturals we tend to take for granted..... I got no problem taking row from the zombies that lurk there..... I paid for them with my NY state license and I will harvest them... unless of course its not a clipper... sorry if you see that being a problem, but whats better me taking legal fish or a guy with a "Michigan Cricket" and a shark rod ripping fish?
  11. LOL Gbay my thoughts exactly.... Dont get me wrong it IS a giant fish.... is it a WR well if we had pics of them measuring both length and girth you could have a better idea. Lets look back at another giant caught there the got stretched to 60" a few years back when I think the lentgh was like 56.5" and I also held that fish (frozen)... guess what 53lbs is what she was.... a great fish none the less.... and the guy who did the mount even added a cpl inches to it like you can so its even bigger. Sad part is the WR fish is worth alot of $$ to who gets it... alot like the WR bass...or walleye....So if you want the WR your gonna have to keep a fish and better make sure it has great proportions. I just wish a true monster in the 75lbs range came in and put all the who holds the WR issue to bed. Tired of this guy,.... no this guy....
  12. there are still blue walleye that exist.... the Albany River system has them.... if you do catch them they have to be released though. They are very cool to catch and see.
  13. I went to Eddies right after they were there... it was a tough bite but the water was 8' above norm... that place has some crazy fish in it though....as for the next guy... I do know they hired another guy to be on the show... not sure I can say his name but it is not the 2 for mentioned. Met Pete at Sail... great guy to chat with we had actually met him before and mentioned Eddies place to him.... we will go back thats for sure.
  14. I was at one point an exclusive musky guy for about 10 years... and almost always fished GBAY. Having said that, I think its great there are alot of people that want to go out and fish it understand this though. You can go DAYS without a pull and then all of a sudden you get 3 in a day. It can be very frustrating but the rewards are great. I was there the day G. Bristow caught his 58" and let me tell you its a fine thing to see. Scary part is we have seen fish there that are gross in size. Time on the water and many, many fishless days. But all it takes is one pull on the rod and your the next K. O'brien.
  15. Hell just stand on the Credit any day during salmon season.....rip rip snag snag...and ah yes cut open take row.... and live release....
