  2. No the bass were near the Tea Lake Damn ... there is a big hole under the bridge there. This stretch of the river was south of West Gate and I did see some fish activity in the water, just not on my hook

  4. Not really - unless you count chubs and small bass.
  5. Was in the park this past weekend for a couple of days. Rained 2 of the 3 days, fish weren't interested in bites (except for SMB) but didn't do much serious fishing in all honesty. Had fun though and that's what Algonquin is all about. Managed to grab a couple of snaps on the Oxtongue on the last day. Miro

  12. Went back in June and there was bass fishing in the channels between Benoir and Elephant. Saw lots of people fishing in those channels but watch out for shallow areas and tree trunks. I bumped into a couple myself. Have fun M

  18. Being relatively new into this sport, my list is straightforward and probably already scratched off on yours: - 15"+ brookie on the fly rod in a river/stream - to catch a nice harvest of 3 to 5 brookies in the 20" range, within the same outing - 3+ lb bass on the fly rod - crappie
  19. Man, the first time I saw this fish was on the fishing show called "Fishing Adventurer" ... they are a beauty fish.
