  4. I use Hoyt bows and love them. PSE make a nice bows, quality is pretty good and they shoot nice, quiet and smooth. Stay away from the Readhead, they use to be made Hoyt but now they are just base bows made by Diamond. The Readheads are not fun to shoot, others might like them but personally....... Are you going to buy a package deal? Whatever you go with remember patience. Just a tip, make sure you get the correct draw length and a draw weight your comfortable with. You'll have a blast.
  5. I use a 7' MH, fast rod. Reel has 30lb PP and a flouro leader, sometimes without. I've never had a problem with the set up.
  6. I'm in the same situation, don't know which one. Interested to see some reviews.
  7. I agree with green. Looks like a lack of oil.
  8. Don't see why not. just don't have slugs or buck shot on you. Orange would be a must.
  9. Really clean break. Should be fixable. I had a guy fix my prop a couple time, but he got out of it. I pretty certain Leisure Marine might help you out or recommend someone.
  10. This is not a common reel = lack of replies. I will give as much help as I can, since I've never heard of or seen that reel. 1 - Post a photo of the spring, more likely there are other reels that use the same one. 2 - Long shot, but..... Call Aikman's Repairs @ 905.277.3595, he might have parts for uncommon reels, Worth a shot. Hope this helps.
  11. Your set Brian, looks like a great area. I'm going to set my spots up on Monday.
  12. Looks like fun, nice catches. The sucker is a good size. Well done.
  13. I picked up a Streamside Steelheader Custom a little while back for $130 new, angling Outfitters. I have to say it's a great rod for the price and also very light. Bonus is it has over the counter lifetime warranty, no questions asked.
  14. 7', go with PVC or the Bazooka Tube.
  15. I just bought a Streamside 13' rod from Angling Outfitters. Strong, lightweight and has over the counter life warranty. It was $129.99. Worth every penny.
  16. http://www.trentsevern.com/sandercocksresort.cfm Hope it's what your looking for.

  19. Sayal Electronics should have them.

  21. +1 for the Fenwick. Eagle GT or HMX.
  22. When i did make jig heads, I used a table top element and a small pot. For lead my buddy would give me bags of wheel weights. Any shop will be willing to give them to you, they have to pay for toxic disposal per pound. Hope this helps. Burner like this:
  23. Vibration baits. I use spinners, spinnerbaits and hard body rattle baits.
  24. I guess it would go on the hook. Never used them though.
