  1. + 1 on the Senko's. The ultimate go to bait.
  2. Remember to measure the bearing, in mm, so you get the right one.
  3. This is the largest supplier of any type of bearing you need. http://www.ntn.ca/ contact them with what you want. Hope this helps Daniel
  4. I remember hearing years ago. He sits out there in his lawn chair, with the gas auger by his side. And actually drills you a hole, (apparently), anywhere for a dollar. Guess he's not doing it anymore.
  5. Thanks, I think I will stick with the Scotty's. Thanks again.
  6. Is the older gentlemen that cuts each hole for a dollar still on Simcoe?
  7. Cool, thanks for all the tips and suggestion.
  8. I will be trolling with dipsy diver and small planer boards this tear. But I have one question, will the Scotty rod holder be ok and safe to use? or should I invest in something better? Thank you
  9. When I do go, I use one of my spring crappie reels. I normally clean and grease my reel twice a year. I started using the grease and oil called Reel Butter from BPS. I also comes in a kit for $24.99, it is worth the money.
  10. Sorry can't answer that, the GF knows my password.LOL. From Jan 1 to mid April, I would say $1500+, mostly all match/carp fishing stuff. It's not a lot considering it's comes from the UK. I have a budget though.
  11. WOW, never thought of it that way.
  12. I was told my line is "Here we go!!LOL
  13. Congrats on the boat, bet you can't wait for the open water. My first boat was a 14' alum, I stripped the old paint, sanded the alum., cleaned it with alcohol, hit it with an automotive primer, and brushed on the deep blue tremclad paint. For 5 years, the paint never chipped, peeled, or fell off. Have fun with it, can't wait for the reports. Daniel
  14. No hare, but I bet you had a good time!!
  15. Numbers. We have had some great success on our fav. properties the past few years. This year the number of hare dropped, but the yote population in those areas boomed. Which in turn ruined the hare population. I hope you have fun on you first outing, the walk, fresh air, scenery, and If lucky your first hare. Have fun and good luck. Daniel
  16. I use a $4 camera flash I got from Ebay. Like Kemper said, glowing jig heads differ in glowing time.
  17. I really didn't think of it that way. Control everything and price goes up.
  18. I read on another site the Shimano bought Innovative Textiles, Inc., the makers of Power Pro. Now Shimano really has it all, great for them and great for us. daniel
  19. It is a hard decision to pick the best of. But just a suggesion, detail in words and pic detail (went to the BOG caught walleye, here's a pic, that's not really a best of, Solo's reports, Rich's reports, examples of best of),, greatest how to's (the reel cleaning thread comes to mind and the jig tying), and etc... Again just a suggestion,
  20. I was thinking of picking 2 up on ebay. Like Solo I haven't heard too much about the record.
  21. Great vid, haven't see that one. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Bass Pro have a few different feathered hooks. I don't know if they are the exact same as the rapalas.
  23. Cool the foil acts as a shield, sounds good. For the soldering, I've been doing it for years. Thanks for the link. Daniel
  24. Cool, I have a cut transducer cable I was going to toss. I didn't know it could be spliced. When you say wrap with foil, are you talking about regular alum. kitchen foil? Thanks Daniel
  25. Great video and info Dan.
