ha ha, someone hates the GTA lol

Sinker brings up something I was wondering about. As you've seen, there's lots of interest but who are these hunters who don't already have a piece of land to go to ? Are they the dregs that previous owners booted off or something else ? I just see headaches from leasing it to Joe Public unless they come with impeccable references. I was recently looking at 100+ acreage that had a forest management arrangement and you get $$ and usually some lumber/firewood. That was a very attractive carrot but ended up not buying (too much work to clear and build). Personally, I'd be selfish and keep it as a private hunting area for close friends.

I don't hunt and only have 11 acres but I would explore all legal ramifications of leasing before proceeding further. As alluded to, you may be on the hook if things go south with a hunting party no matter what paperwork you have. For the $$ you may get, personally, I would skip it and not take on the hassle or worry.

If it's in warranty, then they should exchange if that's written into the fine print. Sale price should make no difference at all and they're sticking you with a loss which is unacceptable. If BPS was smart, they'd monitor all the various fishing boards and put out any fires they come across. One bad experience usually snowballs. On a few serious photography forums I belong to, csr reps from a couple of big stores do just this and it engenders good will 9 times out of 10. Good luck and I hope they do you right on those waders.

Honestly, I don't find his fights that exciting except for his cockiness and although I didn't see it, am glad he got handled. Wish Mayhem didn't go off the rails, he was fun to watch.

Still go to BPS but less so for fishing now and more for camping gear. What I like about LeBarons is their membership discount. Sure it costs $25 but if you knew you were going to spend several hundred bucks or more in one year, it was worth it. Just signed up for Sail's VIP email thing. Missed their last sale which was something like 15% off. Hoping for another one soon as there was stuff I want to buy that no one else has. Cabelas needs something in the Horseshoe !!

You're going to have to play around until you find the right adjustments for the cast (tension) control and the inertial (centrifugal) brakes. There are some good videos on Youtube that'll help get you on the path to fewer nests. I find heavier lures led to fewer nests.

While hard to see happen, I would have left it to nature to sort out. Last thing you would want is for someone in your party to get injured. As well, how are to know the losing loon wasn't the instigator and was getting it's due ?

Pike won't be too hard to find in the West Arm at all, even off the dock if you're feeling lazy. Finding pickereyes were more challenging for me last time up there. Bass were so so although I didn't try one popular spot, next time. and the wall tent is luxe, roomy, bright and you'll sleep like a baby in it. I'm trying to co-ordinate vacation time with my wife for a visit up there in July or August. Another place I liked was Totem Point Lodge on Wolseley Bay. Beautiful area and lots of regulars there (like other lodges, lots of Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York plates) which I always read as a good sign.

^ yup. Recently said good bye to a stack of workers who took a buyout. Tons of experience and knowledge gone, pretty sad. People who couldn't be intimidated by anyone but were the friendliest you could ever meet. As for deadwood in companies ? Where I work, if they want to get rid of the slackers or deadwood, they can and have done so. They just have to keep meticulous records and keep the union abreast. Not much the union can do if there's a case to be made. Can't speak for other unions but I've heard enough about bad employees to make me shake my head. Haven't drunk Coke in years and don't miss it at all. I did love Muskoka Dry Ginger Ale though...that I do miss.

I'd also look at Arrowhead PP. Bit closer than Algonquin and very close to Huntsville if the kids get bored or need a Kawartha Dairy fix Have skied and snowshoed there and but never camped there but would think it'd be more peaceful than some campgrounds in Algonquin (Rock would not be my first choice for peace and quiet although the beach and water access are great). congratulations ! 160 acres will be a nice wood lot and being in an unorganized township will make life easy for building. I can see trail cutting in your future lol. are you also thinking of a large garden as well as chickens and rabbits ?

I have a Yeti and haven't done side by sides with my Coleman Extreme but it seems to keep ice for similar periods. I do like the handles that latch the lid down and the fact that it can be locked. It's built super tough and I don't think twice about standing on it. The drain knob is much better than the usual push plugs as well. Def pricey as you know
