  1. If you don't tap yer toe, check for a pulse! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5F-AEsNO7c HH
  2. Thanks for the pic John and looking forward to the video! Kinda funny how a four piece band now needs multiple instrumentalists to pull off their material. HH
  3. So boys, how was the show? Any pics that you would care to share? HH
  4. For Perch, I would suggest moving closer to shore for evening and night fishing. My experience suggests that the schools of perch are close to shore 1st thing in the morning and gradually they move out to deeper water as the day progresses. Haven't actually fished (ice) at night, but that's what my early morning experience tells me. Hope this helps. HH
  5. And here yah go... HH
  6. Pino is a great player, don't get me wrong, but as a bass player myself, The Ox was someone who inspired me. I was fortunate enough to have seen them 4 times, none unfortunately with Moon. Have a great time fellas, John ear plugs should be in order! Can you see the Real Me, can yah! HH
  7. Big Who fan here Peter, but ever since Entwistle passed away, I just cringe when I see them... that and Daultry's voice make it a no go for me. That said, I would love to hear Quad again... HH
  8. It never hurts to have another set of eyes review any and all documentation before you release it, especially in the business world. I honestly don't count on "Word" finding all the errors. You may well have miss-spelled a word that you meant to use, but the miss-spelled word is spelled correctly, but not the word you wanted! (My head hurts now! LOL) HH Edit - there is no "s" in regard. Just so you know~
  9. Good luck with the endeavor... just a word for you and please don't take it the wrong way, but be very aware of your spelling and grammar when making any documented representation to these companies... they are professionals and are expecting to be dealing with professionals. That said, you spelt Sponsors incorrectly in the O.P. title. Again, best of luck. HH
  10. Yes, Bob is/was a legend, just like the penny. HH
  11. The Sens have probably bought thousands of soothers for their fans to suck on during the game and I'm sure that the Sens Management doesn’t want any Leaf fans making fun of them. What a bunch of Pansies... Re Bob Cole... should have retired a decade ago... I'm all for nostalgia, but he might as well be watching another game based on his verbal description of the game being played in front of him. Add to that that he is a Habs fan, who clearly demonstrates that at every chance, time for him to move back to the Rock and settle down to some flipper pie! HH Edit - I forgot the obligatory "Ooh baby!"
  12. Thanks for the advice, but given that the door, assembly and house were built in 1978, I don't think I can follow up with the original installers. Funny thing about this house, we moved in here just over 5 years ago and I have been spending time and money, bringing it up to date with regard to appliances, A/C, well you name it! The folks we bought the house from were Actuaries, which means they would calculate the return on investment on everything, before they spent a dime! We knew what we were getting into when we bought the place, but man o man, were they ever cheap! HH
  13. Bah hah.... way to funny! HH
  14. Well, you might consider buying an Eel skin wallet as the scammers are now able to read your card just passing you by, anywhere! I hear that Eel skin doesn't allow for the passage of radio frequencies, so they are the wallet of choice... but as always, I could be wrong! LOL HH
  15. Thanks again to all who chimed in... I released the door from the opener and it rolled smoothly, so I know it was not the door. The dudes who installed this opener, did a pretty crappy job. The opener is just hanging from a 2x4 that just hangs from the garage rafters. So, when/if that board gets moved, the pole doesn't line up at a 90 degree angle to the door. Well, someone it appreas moved that 2x4 and after a good long look, I moved it up to square, re-lubed the tube and it works fine again. Oh, I also adjusted the clutch on the bottom of the unit and that helped to tighten the chain... hopefully, all is well for now. A big thanks to all who provided insight... it's one of the things that make this place great! HH
  16. Stayed at and fished the area closer to Matachewan at a place called Golden Eagle. Did an afternoon trip to Elk Lake to take advantage of their beach... word to the wise, lots of leaches in the water! Jigs and worms for Pickereye and fishing "golden hour" (1 hour before sunset) netted us some nice Pickereyes and some fish frys. Chip wagon in Elk lake is a nice way to avoid cooking... HH
  17. Just wanted to say thanks to all who replied here... unfortunately I have not had an opportunity to give your suggestions a go... and looking at my current schedule, I am thinking the weekend will allow me time to run through all these suggestions. Just didn't want you good folks to think that I have "loned" you... HH
  18. You know what I enjoy, not having "cramps" while I'm trying to fish... There I fixed it for yah! HH
  19. Strength to all of the Irishfields... positive thoughts pouring your way

  20. So I noticed the topic of this thread, then I noticed right beside that, it said "hot". But that's all I got for now! HH
  21. Can't say I'm surprised... my street is lined, both side with Ash trees. They have (the city) begun cutting infected trees as of last fall. I spoke with the guys doing the cutting and asked then what to look for. He showed me trees that from a quick glance, looked completely healthy. Then he pointed out the dis-coloured bark, usually upo near the top of the trees. These critters are going to decimate our forrests and it appears that there is nothing we can do to stop them. Yet another invasive species blight. Another that has taken hold locally, is a climbing vine that spreads like a porn star. The vine will choke out trees, leaving them stuggling for survival. I take it upon myself to cut them in my ravine and will do so again this spring. The leaves on the vine look similar to maple leaves... HH
  22. Thanks Gerritt.... up the ladder I will go... HH
  23. Thanks Gerritt, uhm, how do I do that? HH
  24. Hey folks, I have a two car garage and the original door and opener dating back to 1978. The door opens just fine, but when closing, it practically bounces it's way to the ground. If I apply some downward pressure to the door (prctically hanging off of it!) it seems to help with the jerky motion downward. The motor seems fine, I have practically emptied a can of white mechanics grease on the main arm the door travels, it seems pretty well lubed up. Any thoughts from folks with more experience would be greatly appreciated! I would rather NOT have to buy a new door, but will if I have to... Thanks in advance! BTW - it is somewhat related to fishing as all my gear is in the garage... that should sooth the haters! HH
  25. It's pretty rare that I watch any fishin shows, but I do like Charlie's if for no other reason than he fishes in places that I could fish and show us how it's done. Kinda makes me feel like I'm there. TJ, what porn flick did you get that sound track from! LMAO HH
