In run braid on my two bait casters,a few birds nests in the beginning. I now run it wide open,and it's all about timing when it hits the water,Thumb on the spool the same time.it hits the water.Great distances. Watch when casting into the wind,that's a whole new set of problems lol.Good luck,you'll figure it out ok.

Cabtire is nice,but after sitting outside a couple seasons cracks like heck.I just use the outside cords, outside.Have a couple hundred feet of cabtire cords I use inside on certain jobs.
