  1. No steel head in southern Ontario apparently Brian. Italo said so :whistling:Just saying.
  2. I was told, steel head are saltwater to freshwater to spawn, and they would never make it this far meaning it's cousins are rainbow, totally fresh water driven.Correct me if I'm wrong?Rainbow return to fresh water lakes as I was told.
  3. Yes!,no steel head in Ontario.
  4. Sinclair,with a swivel on a closed loop,I haven't seen that myself,or so seldom I don't remember it happening.
  5. Nothing a good shave couldn't clean up.
  6. Great video, and if I'm not mistaken on this site there was video of a eagle attacking a mountain goat high on the mountain then causing it to lose balance and fall to it's demise. Than try and carry a large part of the animal to it's tree nest.Amazing as well!!
  7. Welcome to the board, maybe carp fishing is my calling lol, Lots of good help here ,enjoy.
  8. Even if they don't I can go 10 casts or more before I have to slide it back into position that one time, not a big deal IMO.
  9. Unless your still fishing,in my opinion you must have at least a swivel/snap swivel.
  10. How about waiting in Q to get your boat out of the water and one of the fellows in the boat next to me:whistling:,says look at the #$%&^# you know what ,and because your voice carries over water, plus only idling, you could see everyone on the dock and other boats looking over.Just a tad embarrassing..After fishing of course.
  11. I use them for float fishing.Very strong swivel!
  12. Mike and you know this how??:rofl2:
  13. Have a great birthday,I am one up on you this past week! They say life begins at 50!!!!!,What were we doing before?
  14. I use them all the time, the swivel prevents line twist,I know I should use a two inch leader for pike, but the kinks in a wire leader sometimes turn me off. Also the swivel makes it really easy to change lures. There is a saying you pay your money, you take your chances, and the chances is what I take. Very seldom loose a lure but I use braid all the time and cut and re-tie when needed.
  15. Isn't it thou!!!!!!!!
  16. Good question B, they'll probably get that many volunteers?

  22. So what I'm getting is one bad apple doesn't spoil the bunch, Don't say anything till after a couple weeks when it's not nice,no river names, big lakes may be okay?,obviously not your favorite spot, what else have I missed?. OH,when we think someone is fishing out of season that's not OK.And that is regulated by people that drive by evey day,as I pass by many rivers in a week, sometimes ice, sometimes nice!.I think I got it finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Thanks to everyone to help me clear things up.:thumbsup_anim:Almost forgot a picture is worth ? ah ah ah,I Forgot now.
