  1. It's a tough choice for something I may use very little at least for now.I have the Penn 109,which I haven't used,but not good for casting,but a tank of a reel for trolling.Some,or most say the c4 I will not be disappointed,others say,I will be disappointed.The 6600 is in a good price range,and available.Don't know?.Some say the 7000i is to big.The 4600 didn't see today,maybe a little early?.
  2. What would you recommend Roy?,So far this is the most recommended.
  3. Thanks Raf,but about another$60 bucks more, for the amount of musky fishing I do,not sure if it makes sense?
  4. It's not funny, haha, you mentioned Dion.On a local radio station give the "C" to to to, ah he might as well keep it.lol.That's where they are now,4 years later OMG.
  5. I don't know about discouraging ice fishing, but if there is little to no ice,AND warnings were given,What do you think should of been done?.
  6. Check the directional arrows on the primer ball, and as said make sure every thing is tight
  7. What about the 6600 BC reel?,compared to the 4600,?The 4600 was what I originally asked about. The 6600 still a casting reel as well.Let me know your thoughts, thanks.
  8. Is the 7000i Sinclair similar to the canean?
  9. Had a great conversation with a fellow member about a all purpose reel. Would only target muskie once or twice a year at most. He recommended the c4 .I was still thinking of the Canean, but this is a far stronger reel for about the same price.($100-$110).Looks really nice, but just wondering it's probably a little to much for a bass/Pike reel on a regular basis. I just hate the idea of having a nice reel like that and might not even use it in a year for it's intended purpose.I already have a spider stinger bait caster on a nice 6'6" abu rod. My original thought was to buy the canean to use for everything, but now finding out maybe not enough "umphh" for the big,big boys.Any other thoughts or recommendations would be welcome! davey
  10. Tried laminating the yellow paper and just as it started burnt the first two corners.Luckily I caught it in time. All information was still readable. Was only trying to protect it from dampness and/or water.
  11. I like the idea of one free pass,if/only(you weren't aware) the waters or lakes were deemed unsafe and well warned in advanced. We all take chances from time to time but we have to find ways of making ourselves aware of what the day a head could be.
  12. That's amazing, good for you!!It will bring a lot of joy to the kids who otherwise wouldn't have a chance to enjoy what we call fishing whenever we want.
  13. Welcome aboard!,what's that about the MNR stint?.lol. You'll have a good time here.
  14. So do you pass on this, and wait for another sale?,I would of looked at it but I have three cheap spinning reels and rods and that's more than enough for me .I have one good spinning and one decent bait caster I use on a regular basis. This leads me to a post I will ad later.
  15. Good idea,we don't need to offer Questionable ideas.
  16. That looks like a decent deal, maybe fix the lights, new cable?,probably get it for $100.00,pays part of your gas if you can do it.
  17. Dave, that's why my i/o stays put till end of April:canadian:
  18. Still saying for a spare rod and reel great price,If there a little flimsy, and you break it off putting on line, well that aint right,I don't care who you are .That there is funny. LOL.In all seriousness take it back.
  19. Most the x raps here are $10-$11 each now
  20. I saw them as well, looked like a good buy for a spare rod as you said,or for the occasional angler.
  21. Hi hear you on that one!!
  22. Change the needle and seat, quite a common problem
  23. $8 bucks for a x rap!!!!where? lol.
  24. Your right I think the rules have changed. If oil was 95 cents per barrel,we would be paying 95 cents per litre, what happened?.
  25. Yes it goes up and down every week, but still inches upwards near the end of each month.
