  1. Nice one, Your reports are always great. Thanks
  2. That's beaaaaaaaaaaaaaaautiful! Perfect day too. Now i'm all excited Thanks,
  3. Thanks for the invite brother but I am never certain what days I can escape the salt mines. I think you'll be very successful though I'm sending good vibes your way. I think Friday is the day. Overcast, low winds and 10 degrees! If I fish on Friday and catch anything, I will go topless. I challenge you to a topless report. Good luck!!!!!! p.s. practice like nuts on the new baitcaster, if you haven't already
  4. Good job. It still blows my mind that some anglers make no connection with the environment. No walleye?
  5. Pirates of the carribean was my favourite ride there, 27 years ago. Your last pic is haunting
  6. You're right. To take it a step further, I believe that plastic should be outright banned.
  7. Nice one, That pike is so light coloured.
  8. I still have no idea of the lengths or weight of any fish. I must have been in the 40" range on 1 or 2 though. I should have taken advantage of Fidels company to collect scientific data. I even carry a digital scale and tape measure! Yeah, but you've got monsters up there!
  9. FESTIVE GREETINGS! Sorry, these reports would have made it to your homes/workplace sooner, but my internet has been down for a few weeks. O.K. the pics: These are from my solo journeys: Really had to do some lure variations spot to spot due to light and water quality. Most of the following were caught employing only 2-4 different lures. However, on occasion, I do have a lure that I use to attract them and once I get a follow, I quickly switch up to my closer lure. This combination has been working well lately. Had a great day with a fanatic that has spilled some great wisdom, Highdrifter. We took advantage of the last “warm” day of winter before Xmas. I almost went topless. We have a weird chemisty. When ever we meet, Fidel catches a fish within minutes of us meeting and I always close the day with a catch.?? It works when we communicate via cellphone too? We did a great tour that day. Fidel on rollerblades and I was on a great garbage score mountain bike. We covered a lot of territory on the shore and on the islands. We both lost some fish and had great follows. We even ran into DSN on the ferry. Surprise, surprise. I was mocked for this pose. Fidel was suffering from Pikeness envy. This beauty was caught at the end of the day The holidays are definately a time to give and Recieve! This one was a big muddy water suprise. You should've expected the hat. No, it's real, not photoshopped. I have integrity in self-mockery. Well, Merry belated Xmas and HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Snag! P.S. Be good and be nice. p.p.s Today I ran into fellow OFNer, RSX, at one of my fave spots. He hooked into a real beauty that snapped his line and stole his lure right near the dock. After a good cry we lamented the absence of fellow OFNer, Lucid.
  10. Dude! Thats awesome!!!!!! This little honey hole you have is the new garden of eden or Atlantis! Way to go Cliff.
  11. Hey Man, The new camera is great. Fidel and I came to the conclusion that the water clarity was the biggest issue. I caught a monster-in-training on the way to the car about 1/2 hr. after we parted. I will post a report in the New Year. See ya!
  12. Classic GCD stunt! Ho HO Holy crap that was funny!
  13. Have a great one everybody!
  14. Hey y'all, Thanks for enjoying my misfortune. Yes, he still hasn't called! I'm a bunk man myself. Bunks reports have the power to transport and include you in the experience. That is the talent of a true story teller.
  15. Looks like it will be an OFC swill!
  16. Let's go. You have a PM. Good! My camera is still a 2.1 mp!!!! See ya out there!! Thanks, I was cold and almost fell in the water on that last shot! Thanks Mike, I was suprised too. Even if I was skunked, it was nice to be there.
  17. Definately a Christmas to remember!
  18. That's right Cliff. However, I don't fish catch and release if the weather will be below freezing. Not because I can't handle it, simply because the fish can't. Their eyes and gills freeze up in seconds. They will die. So it'll be catch and clean soon on the ice (I hope)
  19. Hey Y'all. Headed out to the Islands yesterday. There was the possibility of other OFNers there too (BabyHerc and DSN) Twas not to be. I was the only fisherman on the islands. Matter of fact, the place was devoid of life. Love it. I was hoping that the day would be as nice as Sunday but it turned out to be windy and cold. I had some great bites and lost a few. Here are some pics..... They don't like it when you troll from the ferry. Thought this Rocky racoon was dead but he was homeless struggling/squirming to hide his head from the sun. I think he was kicked out of the bed at night and was in the doghouse. I have an extreemely tasteless caption for this but I promised Muskystudd that I would be good. (Insert your own caption here: ) And now the CATCHES!!!!!!!!!!!! This one was a reaaaaaal fighter! And is for sale. Needs a little TLC. Lost this one. Not hooked to well. Too bad it was a decent size. Had some great follows at this spot, then lost a nice one and then finally was rewarded with this lil'snotty. This one was totally unexpected. I cast into 5 FOW just for fun and this dude hits. Very aggressive fight. That's it folks!!!!!!!!! Thanks!
  20. Caught 18 hrs. ago
  21. Dear Santa Mepps, I would like a fish hook neclace like yours. Thanks Santa!
  22. Stop it! You two are out of control!!! Wow etc. What kind of walleye aphrodisiac are you spraying on your lures??? Way to go guys. I love it when nice people prosper.
  23. Your there now!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. I just noticed, That's all. Congrats!
  25. Baby, Just try it! Dress for it and you'll find the patience, anticipation and reward are bizarrely addictive! Standing on 6-20" thick H20 over 20-100+ deep water and catching something can be rewarding. (muskystudd feel free to censor this!) Done
