  1. Not true, Unfortunately, some marinas have a type of "Lease" from the government that gives them control over the land and body of water. Typically, this usually occurs with marinas that are enclosed. You would have to research the deed and ownership of the marina.
  2. LakAir is next week. I know a good lawyer.
  3. I think that's it man
  4. Garden and reno. Good luck!
  5. YAAAAAAAAAAAAR BILLY! My parents live there. There is a stream that meanders through Alliston and Tottenham (forget the name). Drive up concession 7 north of hwy.9 but south of hwy 89. You will have to go through a narrow bridge. It's about 10 min from the conservation area. I've never fished there but I've caught little brookies behind my parents place. You'll have a blast at the festival. Ciao!
  6. It's true. And after all that preparation, Then pretend it's "O.K" when you: 1. Get skunked 2. Get rained on (big rain) 3. Get sick (or grieviously hungover) 4. Forget something important 5. Have to deal with other people who suck 6. Etc.
  7. My signature move is the dead battery shot.
  8. Outrageous, Sadly, it's us who consume.
  9. Very nice Cliff! I have a feeling you'll be the King of the Bog soon. Then Carole will take the thrown .
  10. You are one lucky man to have such a great wife!
  11. Awesome! What you caught in a day is more than some catch in a year.
  12. Outstanding! Good to have the family out. All smiles too.

    Pike part2

Great pics! I could've done without all the text though
  14. You got that right! I've found poachers to be born and bred locally. They get angry if you disturb "their" poaching site by birthright. All my confrontations have been in english.
  15. Hahahahaha
  16. Cool, I always love those shots. They are a metaphor for life. What happened next?
  17. Mennonites!! Good gravy, Gunthers got a gaff! Just when I thought that there were no races, cultures or communities left! Who will be the next scourge? Macrobiotics? (fish mongering freaks!)
  18. Thanks Reefer, As I mentioned, I'm not equipped for the glory/money/happy-ending shot with fish in hand. Perhaps this year I'll fix that. I'm too much of a spaz that I'll drop the camera or drown myself.
  19. I've caught a few musky and pike from both an inflatable and hard-shell kayak. My 1st rule: If you're close to shore/shallows; get out and land the fish safely. I have not used a boca or net because I know that both will compromise the Kayaks balance (particularly with a big fish) I would also recommend a sit-on-top kayak for better handling and safety. Otherwise, (well, you already know this!) Have all the tools handy and try to release in-water. Yaks are so low to the water that I've found it easy. However, you are that much closer to the fish and if it freaks, you're both in danger. Painful danger. Netting isn't much of an option from a kayak. If the fish fights, let go. Try again. Pictures are a luxury unless you have a good set-up like some experienced yak anglers have.(See: Jediangler). Check out some of the Ocean fishing kayak sites.
  20. That's a shocking discovery for sure. Great report as always. Now get back to work
  21. You're a very bad man. (been there done dat!)
  22. Good to see you caught a pike that could fit inside a walleye!
  23. I think I'm gonna have a vicarious heart attack! Great report Musky Rich!
