Thanks for the update. I hope that I can make it.

Good to hear. Is it province wide; or, just in selected areas?

I seem to remember seeing an ad for captains seats recently. I think it was on Spoonpullers.

Are you complaining about lack of warranty on a 30 year old suit??? What if you are already wearing a PFD underneath your suit?

They have Phaneuf and they almost got Clarkson last year.

I think that you are right; it did used to be more than one section. It also used to be run by a different group. I think OFAH had a show there for many years. They merged with the Toronto Sportsman Show and then someone else organized a new show in the same location and time slot as the cancelled show. I cannot remember which year that was. But I don't think the new show was ever as big as the old one.

How would a lamprey leave a long gash with its circular mouth? Unless the pike cut it self trying to remove the lamprey.

Anyone know if there will be a North GTA tackle swap this year? I missed it last year. I don't see anything about a 2016 show. http://allevents.in/toronto/2nd-annual-north-gta-tackle-swap/1416941891935379

And the three draft choices they gave up for Toscala too.

If you want to be sure that the lake has brook trout; you can check the MNR stocking lists. Topo maps may be able to help with some, trails. But you cannot depend on them to be up to date.

Spring Fishing Show - MotorGuide / Lowrance
John Bacon replied to John Bacon's topic in General Discussion
Okay, thanks for all the tips. -
It's bull. The only way he can get money from you for trespassing would be to sue in civil court. In order to sue in court, he would have to prove damages. E.g if he rented his land to some hunters, but they cancelled their trip because you had been hunting there without permission, he could sue for lost revenue. He is not going to be able to collect $5,000 just because you set foot on his property. You could also be fined for trespassing. But that is completely different. The landowner doesn't collect fines, the government does.

Spring Fishing Show - MotorGuide / Lowrance
John Bacon replied to John Bacon's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, I checked the directory. But I am pretty sure that Mercury Marine owns MotorGuide so I thought they may share a booth. -
Can anybody tell me if there are MotorGuide and/or Lowrance booths at the Spring Fishing & Boat Show? I have some questions about linking a Lowrance to my MotorGuide. I was hoping that they would be at the show. I don't see them listed in the directory. But they could be under a parent company. I would appreciate any information that you can give me.

Probably because the goods teams don't want any of Ottawa's players.

Another this to consider is Ontario's Trilium plan. The government will provide assistance with prescription drugs over and above a deductable. The deductable will be based on your family income. In the case of my wife, we had to pay the first $1,250 per quarter; any prescription drugs over that amount will be covered by the government. It didn't help us much because our costs were about equal to our deductable; but it may take the sting out a major illness for some families.
-
I would agree if it was a more useful plan. But with a $1,500 & $750 annual limits on drugs dental and $3,700+ in annual fees; it doesn't sound like this plan is going to much help anyway. Unless the plan include life and disability and/or critical illness payouts, it will be pretty hard to come out ahead.

-18 on Saturday. Winter is not quire over yet.

They didn't get where they are by signing free agents. It was from tading draft picks and young talent for players of questional benefit. Rask plus the six draft choices they gave up for Toskalo, Kessel, and Raycroft would be nice to have right now. Signing a UFA for a reasonable contract isn't going to derail the rebuild.

You will most likely come out ahead by just paying your own expenses. The benefits company takes your money from their customers, incurs overhead costs, pays out the cost of benefits, and still has some money left over for profit. Clearly, they take more money in than they pay out. If they didn't, they wouldn't be in business. While they they will collect more than they pay out on a total basis; it may not work that way for each individual. A few individuals will claim more than they pay; and some will pay more than they claim. On average, members premiums will exceed the benefits they receive. The only advantage would be if you have some health issues and need to make a lot of claims in a short period of time. In that case the benefits may pay off. In some cases it may ward off financial hardship. Just make sure your plan covers the big expenses if you need them. I looked into continuing my plan after I left IBM but the annual caps on dental and prescriptions completely defeated the entire purpose of having a benefits plan. If it covers the big expenses (e.g. $27,000 injections, dental surgery, etc.) it may be worth it for peace of mind.

It's not ideal. But it will work. The electric motor can cause interference if the sonar is on the same battery. That will only be an issue if you are using both at the same time.
