Holy crap Wayne!!! Not what you would expect out of a high 5 digit boat! I'd be a little disapointed with the marina as well though, after all, they should have noticed, not all of these items, but at least some of them! Hey, it can only get better from here!

The only 2 places I can think of are Harris Boat Works in Gores Landing ( Rice Lake) or Willow Bend Marina (Otonobee River, Peterborough).

Well isn't that the strangest thing! I know exactly where you were. Do you recall seeing a Green Lund with a couple of guys in it by the grand stand? I was wondering what the guy was doing in the water! LOL I thought he was concerned about a fish he just released because I recall seeing the guy with a fish on then shortly after he was in the water. We did great that day by boat. This was my first time on that body of water, not exactly my coice of waters but never the less still had a great time. Between the 2 of us we boated 30 + for the day. I can garauntee we lost just as many! Sure is a bit of a haul to get there though. With The DVP being closed and avoiding traffic, it was just over an 8 mile run.

Well that's one more fishing trip than I have done! Very nice Spiel. Ijust love those streams that cough up beauties like that! Well worth the efforts bud!

Yes, you are right, I've had similar happenings on a few of my reels. Once the reel is broke in they seem to be OK. Another thing I did with mine is heated the bearing up with a hair dryer and then submersed in 3in1 oil. Seemed to have done the trick.

Thanks JR, er a Mr JR.... We are working on a plan to see if a "virtual" chapter would be effective. This was just breifly discussed at the last BOD meeting. If we can find some poor sole, I mean a great leader to have interest in this I can actually see it work. They can still hold monthly meetings via the internet. Hmmm something to ponder...

It's not done yet either, this is only the begining, soon there will be more information relating to Muskie Fishing. Working on getting some of the information from the MNR like the clethrum(sp) project, tagging studies, updates on the Lake Simcoe Muskie Restoration Project, interesting articles from anyone who is willing enough to write them,(coughsnadycough). Dan, tell me more about this copy and paste thing, how does it work? Is there some sort of internet glue?

Well, I haven't been on the forums much as of late, mostly because I have become a computer geek! No offence guys, just that I never figured I would ever be a web guru. I tool on the task of being the Toronto chapter's web site director 2 years ago, basicly it was to just inform our web master of updates to our chapter page. Well, everyone got busy and the web master gave me the login and passwords and I took care of our own web page, nothing major, copy and paste mostly. Well since then we have had another web master come and go. They asked if I wanted to share the task with another person to keep the site up to date. I accepted, BIG MISKTAKE!!! LOL Unfortuantely, the other person who was going to work on this with me got a career change and had to step down as well. I really have to hand it to you guys who do this stuff. I have learnt a lot in the past few months about web designs and there is still more to learn. Any how's long story short, I didn't like the look and operation of the old site, making updates was troublesome and time consuming. Needless to say, I created a new look for MCI and hopefully, in the long run, made it easier to do updates and such. So, the grand unveiling.... drum roll please...... I present to you... Muskies Canada
