  1. Name, DOB, Height, Eye Colour and Address is all you need. ID is not required to buy a fishing license, we ask for it simply because a drivers license has all the info we are required to enter. you can not be denied a fishing license because you dont have ID
  2. CL Fishin Premium spinnerbaits!!!!! there is nothing else for me. have been fishing them exclusively for the last few years (was fishing some of the first prototypes a few years ago) they have out lasted everything else i have fished, they run better than anything else i have fished, and have caught me more fish than anything else i have fished.
  3. gonna have to get the boats out for a mini tournament there Rolly. Looks nice. someone asked about the bow seat being short, if you've met Rolly you would understand LMAO..............JK Rolly
  4. tried to text you last night but my damn phone aint workin, the regs read that you can't transport them over land, meaning you catch them the morning you go fishing and go directly on the boat. in other words its illegal to catch them one night, take them home and take them fishing the next day.
  5. from what i read in the comments when the video was originally posted told me they knew full well that bass were out of season.
  6. From what i have been told (and i made sure to ask when i found out AO was a US company) is that they are one of 3 companies in North America with this hardware. All 3 are US based, and AO has their equipment in 30 states. Again, when i called in and asked this is the answer i received.
  7. we have a 20ft aluminum (legend) with the 115 4stroke and that was the first accessory i added.
  8. your best bet is to send it in to Peterborough. if i sold the rod its absolutely no questions asked, if it came from somewhere else i need the bill stating when and where you bought it.
  9. Hey Ty, nice boat, have fun with the back order on the 80 terrova LOL talking to the rep last week about getting one for my new ride and he said they cant keep them in, their flying out the doors faster than they are coming in right now LOL
  10. i did last week when he was here, and posted that i was told to continue with the over the counter warranty (if the rod in question is in stock) My 5 Crucial's just got here yesterday that i ordered in for myself, still carrying the lifetime warranty slip. i'm not in any way saying you are wrong, just relaying info that is passed to me.
  11. if they are changing they are changing for next years stock (which will be released this fall), and they havent told their canadian sales reps. as of right now all 2012 the rods i have in stock from Clarus on up have the life time warranty on them, indicated by the limited lifetime warranty slip on the reel seat.
  12. they all carry the standard limited lifetime warranty plain and simple. the fees are for products out of warranty. 2jack2, that is how i was raised to take care of customers and that is how i take care of mine now.
  13. had the ontario rep in the shop today, so i asked him about this and he has absolutely no clue where this is coming from. i was told they havent changed their warranty at all.
  14. I am a Shimano dealer and I havent heard this as of yet (they may be doing this but i havent heard anything from the ontario reps) as of right now we are still running over the counter replacement (if in stock) or having the replacement shipped in. no shipping costs are incurred either. I dont know how other shops handle their warranties but if a shimano product isn't purchased here i must have the original sales receipt showing what you bought, where and when.
  15. I tend to agree here with a 6'3" being ideal for me. if you are dead set on a crucial i would look at the CRSDX68MA drop shot rod. If you are not set on the crucial look at the Clarus CSS60MB. as far as reels are concerned i feel the same way, just ordered 4 Stradics in LOL.
  16. i love tossing spinnerbaits when i can. a few years ago me and a buddy got on some fall largemouth in a spinnerbait bite, going 60 - 100 per day. it got really expensive with terminator and strikeking baits when we would get 5-6 per bait. then we stumbled across CL Fishin (actually a member here) i now only use their Pro Willow Series baits, strongest i have fished yet and reasonably priced for a higher end spinnerbait. My favorite for pike is the Holo Chartreuse White Monster, and bass would be the Sexy Shad Silver. I like to use plated blades when the sun is out and painted when its overcast, its just always worked for me. http://www.clfishin.com/online-shop/spinnerbait/cl-pro-willow-series/
  17. Gotta love vertical jigging. managed to get out last night near Walpole Island on the St Clair River in 28-30ft. 2 of us were able to connect with 8 nice 1.5 - 2.5 lb Walleye, cooked the smallest for lunch today, mmmmmmm was it tasty heading out again tomorrow, cant wait.
  18. i assume you are looking for perch, try between these 2 way points 1) N42* 26.264' - W82* 27.166' 2) N42* 25.603' - W82* 27.06' that should put you on some fish. this site will help you a bit in locating some local land marks as well. http://www.marinecruiser.com/chart.html
  19. you can only apply for the antler-less tag by going online to ontario.ca/outdoorscard , phone it in to 1-800-288-1155 or go to service ontario and do it in person. the mnr eliminated the mail in application this year.
  20. awesome news Mike, glad it turned out good.
  21. thanks for putting this together Mike, it was nice chatting when you stopped in to pick up the rods.
  22. that sucks, i was gonna try to get down there this weekend.
  23. you are absolutely 100% correct. every time we accept debit/credit for a license transaction we eat the costs of that transaction.
  24. All issuers are now on direct debit regarding remitting moneys owed to the MNR, money is taken out once every 2 weeks (on a thursday to be exact) here is a pic of the breakdown we get from the MNR regarding price structure and issuer fees (modified of course) it shows he made exactly $1.75 on your license purchase. furthermore here is a pic of my machine. im not trying to blow smoke up your butt Garritt but rather clear up some misinformation for others here. I am an actual issuer of hunting and fishing licenses, and from where i am at i am seeing a ton of misinformation and flat out lies being spread buy other issuers. I hate seeing this misinformation spread like it is the truth as it paints all of us that are trying to provide you guys with a service in a negative light. I understand that this system can be a hassle to you guys, believe me, i have to deal with this machine 12hrs a day 7 days a week.
