  1. to the best of my knowledge you have 5 years to go from g1 - g2, once you get your g2 you have so long to get your g. call the MOT, they will give you the correct info.
  2. i have played around with them in the shop, nice units for sure. the info i received from the guys at marcum tech. is if you havent used a flasher before, then the showdown unit is one you should look at, its easier for a beginner to read with the linear graph. If you do have experience using a flasher then you should probably stick with the L-series flasher as they are technically a better unit.
  3. keep Terry's setup until the end of the season and i will see what deals i can get you in november
  4. i thought you gave it up?????? :P:P Yes, Flipping in shallow water, CL Fishin Pro Flipping Jigs and our 4.5" Flappin Craw!!!!!!! there is nothing like hitting the lake armed with a 7.5ft telephone pole and 65lb braid!!!!!!!
  5. Well, i bought a Frogg Toggs set mid year this year and i have the Shimano Dryfender set coming in the spring if that says anything.
  6. My 115 4stroke merc will do the same on a cool or cold day.
  7. what rods were you trying, there are tons that i have handled that were very light sensitive
  8. Well, after this year it would be the new Cumara 7'-2" xfast med dropshot rods with a stradic CI4 2500
  9. Driver makes all the difference. it is nice to see the organizers put the safety of its anglers first.
  10. 20k wind gusting to 40k in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec according to environment canada
  11. they have had to cancel day 2 due to severe weather, the awards ceremony will take place at noon.
  12. I just ordered the Shimano Dryfender 3T coat and bibs for myself.
  13. some big bags being weighed in, 23.51 topped the scales the last i saw, and i lost count how many 18lb bags i saw weighed.
  14. For a decent rod and reel "combo" you should be able to get something for less than $200. (Just basing on what i have in the store here you should be able to get something like a 6'6" Okuma Dead Eye 2pc Med rod and an Okuma Epixor 25b for less than $200 out the door). Take a look around though, if you are looking to spend more then look at the NEW Shimano Clarus Walleye Rods that are coming out. There is a 6'8" MH and 7' Med 2pc coming and should sell for around $125.00, I got to play with them last Sunday and they are a nice rod. Pair one up with a Sedona or Sahara and you will be golden.
  15. nothing saying you cant, if thats what you are comfortable with then go for it. I am more comfortable with a spinning setup (7'2" crucial MED dropshot rod and stradic 2500)
