Sounds about right for a White Bass, or Silver Bass.I caught one here on Lac St. Louis a few weeks ago.Here in Quebec we have to release them.

Trolling.We tried casting but the tip top guide on my brand new Compre Musky rod broke off after 4 casts, so we had to go back to trolling. Nice rods, good garantee, but it will be cheaper for me to fix it myself, than ship it back to Shimano.

Hooking into a good sized Musky after dark is a real Heart pumper !!! Glad i got the chance to do it this trip.

nope........my GRANDFATHER did. And so did most of our grandfaters.Back then, fish was caught and preserved to help feed big families. No limits or slots back then. Gramps hunted and trapped and fished to support his 10 kids.

Awesome shot.I have some Pics of my Grandfather back in the 50's with 5 or 6 muskies hung out and at least 50 walleye strung out for pictures that his customers could bring back with them to the states. How times have changed.

We were like a finely oiled machine. While one brought the fish to the boat, the other prepared the tools, and cleared the deck of obstructions.Quick measurement at boatside, camera ready, pic and back in the water. All 4 swam away after a short rest beside the boat.

I believe the verdict was the one with problems, but i could be wrong. I know i had a verdict and it broke at the ferrule. For me sensitivity is important, because i use bait caters for all my fishing styles, includeing finesse.

Bravo on the Citica.I have 2, and they are my Fav reels. Trully bulletproof.I have a number of makes of rods, and i tried a friends Veritas the other day.By far, more sensitive than my comparable Compre.
