  1. Not to worry Beans ole Bud.Its Happy birthday.Mind you, i am english, but dont tell the Qweebekers that or i may lose my job as a Spy for the federals.
  2. Nice wheels !!! I bet the optional accessories are enough to make a man weak in the knees too!!! Snowblower, grader, seeder, tiller, plow, etc. etc. etc.
  3. Congrats Mike !! Enjoy that New Motor smell for a bit, then get out there and break it in
  4. I here they are looking for water on Mars.Where there is water, there will be fish.Better get up there fast if you want a good, quiet spot to fish.
  5. Mine are plastic too Cliff.Never understood why they use plastic, but i will be careful with mine for sure.Thankst for the heads up.
  6. Down this way, the season has been closed in some areas because of over fishing.
  7. Other than a couple of reports earlier in the year, no one seems to be catching them Personally, i have only seen one this season.I usually catch lots while fishing walleye with worm harnesses, but this year i have only caught one.
  8. I see that most people use them through the ice.Anyone use them in the summer? i have read that they are just as effective anchored and slow drifting.
  9. I am gonna give them a shot, next time i am drift jigging for walleye in deeper water. Just one more addition to the arsenal Things like Erie Deeries, where you can add a worm or grub to the single hook would work really well drift jigging too,i suspect.
  10. Great fish !! Quinte is on my Bucket list for this year!!!
  11. Well I got a new Walleye Combo for my birthday, from my brother. Also with the combo, he gave me a couple of Fergie Spoons. An Original, and a Prototype.I am about as excited about these as i was about spinnerbaits!!! I dont think i have seen many posts in here on the subject. It seems we all troll cranks, worm harnesses, of use jig heads and plastics. How many of you use jigging spoons, and maybe you would like to share some of your successful technics with me and the others wondering the same thing
  12. With this heat, do you blame her?
  13. Knit a treble in there, and i bet you could catch a fish er 3 on that !!!
  14. Less visible...Yes.Mono over flouro? Depends on what TYPE of presentation/lure.Remember, braid floats, flouro sinks, mono floats. For pike, i would go with flouro, for its abrasion resistance.I would also use it for bass, if you are using plastics or texas rigging, because it sinks. Mono would be a good choice if you are using surface baits, because of its ability to float. But Ya, it should work fine for ya
  15. Just sayin' Maybe they scouted the area the day before, got there, and found you Who knows? You didnt ask. For me, fishing is a social event.I speak with other anglers i meet on the water and at the launch. When i start getting pissed at other people for doing what people do, its time to sell my tackle and take up knitting. BUT....thats just me.
  16. Well maybe you should have politely advised them it was illegal to fish with 2 rods in the water, each. Also, maybe you were in thier spot, and they decided to be polite and move over and let you fish there If you dont open your mouth and communicate, how will you ever know?
  17. Thanks Guys New Cargo Shorts, new ripstop fishing shirt, Bro gave me a great new walleye combo. Life is good !!!
  18. Really ? Wow ...sounds like someone needs a backwoods fishing trip really soon. I seldom shore fish, but i love fishing with someone in the boat with me.Conversation makes for an enjoyable day on the water.
