  1. They are also dropping the debt retirement fee from what I understand. Wayne, they just doubled my base delivery fee, considered to be rural residential, did your recently go up too?
  2. Mid sized house. Propane cooking and hot water. Wood heat. Average is $120/Mth. My delivery charge is 67 + hst + debt fee. My actual usage last month was 28$
  3. That thing looks brand new. Wow. Great find! I started my 91 Tundra today. Needs a new track badly, but she runs good...maybe a bit smoky.
  4. You are way more ambitious than I !! Obviously I wish you nothing but the best.
  5. Watch out for those thermo cell things near water. They are listed as extremely toxic to aquatic life
  6. Cool. I'm going to look into that. My wife likes making all natural products and I like cutting trees
  7. Well, I guess the secret is out now For the record, Fall and winter are the best repellents
  8. My uncle has the exact same one (non-current one as well). It's new, so reliability is unknown (but likely really good). He uses it for property work and riding. He absolutely loves that thing, even after being a HOnda ATV guy for decades, and he says he won't go back to Honda now. A great all around choice imo. Resale is great on them too.
  9. in some way, it's kind of hilarious
  10. To that last kijiji ad: Buy two get nothing off hahaha
  11. Never heard of this. YOu can get it from deer flies...well, all bets are off then. No point in even worrying about it. Those darn things are everything in the summer.
  12. could have been worse, you could have caught that in the first 4 minutes of your 60 hrs
  13. They would be only slightly louder than your gunshots, chainsaws and snowmobiles
  14. nice oaks Wayne! I have at least 6 oaks on my entire land. None taller than 12 feet Yellow birches however, they grow quality sawlogs.
  15. oh christ that's big! Not sure I could keep my aim straight seeing that thing come towards me. Good luck next weekend, I can't imagine a bigger one.
  16. Oh ya, I did a few stewing pieces as well. I'm really looking forward to some 1" thick deer steaks! Chris, I have a nice plot at the corner of the road that I'm looking to sever up to 20 acres.
  17. We did very well for meat. 25lbs ground and the rest steaked, turned into roasts or cutlets.! Nothing fancy
  18. We had same issue. At 7 months, my wife's mom came over and helped "sleep train" the baby into a 7-7 sleep schedule. Basically she just supported my wife and let the baby cry (a few more details I'm likely missing) . After 5 days she slept 7-7. Still does. The baby just wants mom and mom feels heartbroken to hear the baby cry. Nothing spectacular but still it's hard for a first time mom to just change things on a whim without someone knowledgable offering support, although getting a decent night sleep is the best reward, for both
  19. Gold mine indeed! Do you operate as a commercial woodlot? Are you part of the OWA?
  20. Those fish and that location are truly special.
  21. Nice black cherry! I'm at the northern range of it, so it tends to grow into gnarly logs and barely over 14" diam. Love your property. Looks like it's mainly hardwood (probably loaded with deer?), although I think I spotted a hemlock by your wood piles. Is the beast road-legal? Road trip to north bay
  22. I have Vianet wireless. They purchase off Spectrum. My internet sucks. 1.5mbgs max
  23. That's almost exactly how I did it, except it took me about 3 hours. Learning is fun
  24. Good luck to your boy! Those 303 bullets are getting expensive eh?
  25. It was a 20-30 yard shot. Not many long range shots available on my property.
