I left the page up and my wife read through them...she was laughing and 'awwwwing' as she read and at the end she says something like "wow, those guys are really nice on your fishing thing". Thanks folks....appreciated as always. That's kinda cool. We got our Lab because one of my cats passed away....wait for it....my cat was called...Moose! (my 2 year old renamed him that out of thin air....he was called Oscar) LOL...dont be too jealous FW.....if you did get one you would have to re-plan your ice hut build and increase its size by at least 125% to accommodate a 'Beast". I love my cats too, and getting used to a dog...despite how lovely and friendly he is has if i'm honest been and continues to be a challenge...DAILY.....lol. He healed remarkably quickly thank goodness! And yeah...your warning was not a hoax....lol OH GOD...what have we done....lol...thanks for the warning of the impending Apocalypse! We have been encouraging our cats to take a round out of him every time he starts...Bert....the black and white cat we have...the bigger one is so awesome....he 'hits' roloff hard but does not use his claws....the small female ginger cat we have does not...Roloff stays way clear of her.....lol. I am with you....the only small breeds i like are Staffordshire Bull terriers and Scotties. Thats so cool BB...they are twins. Its too friggin cold here at the moment so we dont stay outside for long...lol...his poor willy was almost frostbit that day in the pics.....he thawed the iceicles off on his blanket....'OUCH'....he's gonna love summer here though....i just noticed the damned dog has WEBBED TOES! talk about a good thing to live on a lake for this dog! I was hoping you might chime in with a pic or two of Ralphie so as we can check his progress....ooops ....i mean Taz Or old neighbours had one like Ralphie...iI cant remember it's name...but I called her 'Donut' cuz as soon as she saw us she would freak out barking spinning in circles (doing Donuts). This legislationis very dangerous....as it stands it means if one person posts a link to an illegal download on either facebook/twitter/YouTube etc...etc.., the US government can then shut the site down. 1 PERSON.....there is no way a site like wiki or YouTube could control that. Now wouldn't this just be an awesome little law for any country (read USA) that didn't want its dirty little, illegal secrets hung out and posted on sites like Wikileaks? For those who are saying 'Its a US problem'.......WRONG! If you access Wiki, YouTube etc, those sites could be closed once something illegal was uploaded or linked to. I think its becoming harder and harder to trust authority (mostly politicians) to act without bias or self interest anymore.....republican or democrat, conservative or liberal....they are all owned...whether you like it or not, and the very sources of the info that highlights the hypocrisy, greed , self-interest which needs to be exposed are under threat from this legislation. I just did a search for who the congress men and women are that are supporting this bill. Seems a guy by the name of Lamar Smith is the big Kahuna of SOPA. A REPUBLICAN....you know...the ones in America at the moment lying about the virtues of 'small government'... WELL SOPA sounds like pretty BIG GOVERNMENT TO ME!!!! HYPOCRISY! My search also turned up Lamar Smith's top 20 political contributors.....surprise surprise.....in that top twenty are some of the world's largest communications and media EMPIRES!!!! Wow...I wonder what they would gain from this bill going through. Exactly the same thing happened to me...IE9 and vista conspired to mess up anything that still functioned correctly....seriously fed up with microsoft.....plus video editing is so much better on mac OS...definitely getting a mac next..up yer schute Gatesy boy! LOL...rant over...i also solved the prob by using Firefox.

Hey Jat, It depends, lol, sorry but its true. One thing is for sure on the lake we were on is that the fish like 'em whichever way we seemed to serve 'em up.. In one case we had 4 lines down with varying baits and did not see anything on screen for half an hour. As soon as my buddy put the crank on the barren bottom started to arch up with big and small fish, the activity started as soon as the jig got 10' above bottom. Its gotta be the shine and rattle...gotta be. The other day it was definitely the ripping action than brought the fish in, suspended or off bottom. You can tell the fish are homimng in on a specific bait because we are fishing 2' feet apart and you can watch as you hover the crank a good 5 or 6 feet above ythe other bait and watch them scream off bottom totally ignoring the other bait well within view and smacking the crank! I feel like i am rambling...hope this helps We dont dress them with anything, although i have not tried to put anything on as yet, have not needed to.

Hi all, My buddy called and wanted to go fishing, he had a spare sled so off we went. We did not catch many the last time out on this easy access local lake......so we tried a few other spots with no success before moving back to my regular spot. We waited half an hour before the fish started biting. We got nine in all and kept for respectable keepers. Depth was 6o'FOW. Baits varied from jig and minnows, jigging raps and lipless rattlin' cranks, and one falling for my split shot and circle hook dead stick with a large dace minnow at 20'FOW. Trout were right on the bottom to 4' under the ice...again managed to see the trout hit through the hole...awesome! I LOVE MY TERROVA Auto pilot and co-pilot rock....but i will be adding the I-Pilot this spring...have not heard a bad thing about the I-Pilot, quite the opposite, everyone i know who has it RAVES about it. And with the Terrova you can still use the foot pedal with I-Pilot installed...unlike the powerdrive....powerdrives are a real pain to deploy too....Terrova....EFFORTLESS!

Ive only ever caught one thing on a williams whitefish thingy. A pretty impressive catch though i think. I jigged this guy up live on the ice from 60'FOW!

LOL...wow...wouldn't that suck if my weight gain due to quitting smoking was the tipping point for my Type 2...oooooh the irony. I have started running with our new dog...and our new eliptical trainer is here in 2 weeks. I eat rabbit food all the time cuz i like it anyway....I aint touched a pop or cookie in a week now, i relapsed on 5 Swedish Fish today though Thanks for the encouragement and advice
