  1. This is a great action shot. I love the water rolling off.
  2. Best of luck to you too greenfshrmn.
  3. Welcome aboard Jordan. A little farther North but the Black and Green rivers at Washago have good bass fishing from shore or canoe.
  4. Yep pretty tough to complain when you have non-stop walleye action within minutes of your house. Great video and pics simon. You are gonna have to find a better place to put your hand held remote so we can hear you better. Almost sounds like you have an english accent?
  5. Welcome aboard Kevin. With you little boat you can fish bass all day on Ramsey Lake. You can travel a little and fish Ratter Lake with it too. Nepawassi Lake is great for pike. JUst open google maps and hit the satelite imagry and you will find 100s of lakes within 30 minutes of Sudbury. Up around Capreol there are quite a few lakes.
  6. Nicely done boys.
  7. As this is your first post you should do a little introduction about yourself. With a 21' boat you somewhat limit yourself. Most of the lakes around Sudbury are too small or too shallow. Were you boating in the North Channel? There is a ton of places to launch on Manitoulin Island. You could come to Nipissing. If you launch at Sturgeon Falls it would only be 40 minutes from Sudbury.
  8. What about Owen Nolan, Mike Gartner, and the "washed up defenceman" from the Rangers. Why keep taking these guys at the ends of their careers? The leafs need to develop their own marquee player. Not rent or buy one off the market. Burke said it would take 4 years. This is year 3 I believe.
  9. Yep. and Yamaha outboards too. I'm gonna head up and see if there are any deals to be had.
  10. Wow I just read back and had missed that part. I fractured my Saccrum falling while playing hockey as a teenager. I had to sit on one of them donut rings for months. Especially whole sitting in a car.
  11. WE will all be thinking of you guys this week. Makes my little issues seem really small. Just curious...how long do they (specialists and surgeons) anticipate before they can replace some of the pelvic structure? That is quite alot of bone mass to lose. Jen is a champ. I get winded climbing the tower.
  12. You piss me off with every report Simon Glad to be o n the same derby team though. I am very envious. What no pics of Jack? I'm guessing he was getting ready for bed.I had Karter out on the dock this weekend and we caught about 100 dink perch, smallies and rock bass. He loves holding them and throwing them into the water.
  13. Nice shooting. How come you didn't toss a line out while you were snapping. You probably could a got your limit in the 20 or so minutes you were out there lol. You have a beautiful property Simon. My favourite is the second last picture with the reeds in it.
  14. Maybe a stupid question but........does the trasducer on the TM read a different depth than the trasnsom mount if they are both on? I would think that the shaft length would make the reading less? 0 I have my bow mounted Lowrance X55 with the transducer on the transom, which really doesn't help when you are looking at it up front. It reads the exact same as my HDS5 on my consul because the transducers are both on the transom. Anyone use a though-hull transducer for their bow units?
  15. Nice fish. Get the 2nd one on a super girl too?
  16. Lake Nipissing is full of them. We used to catch 20 -30 a day ice fishing.
  17. Very good article. I was a lifeguard for about 5 years and pulled several people from the water. Lots of times the children were close enough to the wall to grab on but never even tried. Worst situations were when parents tried to catch kids at the bottom of the slide or when jumping in. If the child panics and starts pulling down the parent it gets ugly. Called the double clutch. There are stories of people biting fingers off of the the other person becaus they get their hands in the mouth and push down. If you can't swim well then stay where you can touch.
  18. Ummmm...o.k. Great weekend though.
  19. Rapalla also has a folding net. I loved it until I got a treble hook all tangled up in it. Mesh is very fine and makes a mess with a hooked fish.
  20. A bigger picture would have shown Randy hanging out at the intersection. Good one R.C.
  21. Trying to imbed it and it shows in the post preview but not when I post???/
  22. Right up my alley. The evinrude is priced too high because the parts motors are actually worth nothing until you need a part. for an 81 25hp I figure around $800. The 15hp should sell at that price but expect offers aroung $450-$500.
  23. Sucks when you catch only one and you have to put it back eh? Maybe you would have done better if you were wearing a leafs hat?
