Where did you drive into?

Hi guys My girlfriend and I are hoping to head up to the Ramsey area on wednesday and are looking for any information on where to tent for free. We only have a 12' aluminum with a 4.5 so we dont want to be too far away from decent fishing as well. It doesnt have to be Ramsey, we are just looking for somewhere not too far from sudbury that we can spend a nice evening and catch some fish. thanks

the problem i have heard with ramsey is there are alot of rocks etc to take a bottem end off, i worked at a dealer in sudbury for 3 years and many many people were coming to buy props because of ramsey and some bottom ends as well, im just too worried to go into waters that dont have charts, and that i am unfamiliar with. my big boat is down right now with engine issues so i do not want to take a bottom end out too.

That and I think I have been spoiled by Huron, you can cruise all day and not see a single boat, where on long lake you couldn't go 2 minutes without hitting someones wake

Sorry about not introducing myself. I am Kevin, I live in lively, I have a 21 ft tempest with a 350 in it. All if my boating has been the north channel of Huron, and a few years ago I was a salmon guide in meldrum bay. I don't really fish much anymore, mainly because I do not know where to go to catch anything. I also have a 15' aluminum center console that if I can find some decent fishing holes I would take it out to. I am mainly looking at doing water sports and cruising. I would like to do peonage but I do not know where the trouble spots are etc. Thanks guys and forgive me please for not introducing myself

Hi guys I have been in Sudbury all my life but have never been out on the boat around town. I have a 21' cuddy and looking for decent places to launch and spend at least the afternoon and maybe the night on the water. I have always done my boating on Huron but with the price of gas I'm thinking staying closer to home. I was out on long lake on Sunday but I found it very busy. I'm not sure if every lake in town is that bad... Any info anyone can give me would be much appreciated
