  1. Nice bike dude. Looks like a wide glide front end? I like the colour by the way.
  2. Well not much to go on, but with a 115 I'm guessing a 16 to 17 ft. Are the electronics old or newer? If it's in good condition ie, no spongy floor and all the usual stuff that goes with an old boat..... Garage kept with seats and interior in good condition as well as the motor and trailer, 5 grand maybe 6 in really good shape.
  3. Grayling didnt impress me either.
  4. My Ford truck was doing the exact same thing. I changed the plugs and wires and also the inline fuel filter and the problem is solved. So one of those three things did the trick.
  5. I never reply to ads where the price is firm. I like to put in an offer and go from there. What's wrong with that?
  6. The winner is Dan. I cut mine into bite-size chunks beer batter and deep fry. Rye and Ginger on the side.
  7. Hotdogs are one of the worse things you can eat. Loaded with fat and chemicals and everything else off the slaughter house floor.
  8. Starcrafts are a good boat. Give er a spin, just not W.O.T. from the get go. Experiment with placement of weight, if it has potential. Also play with the motor settings. Tweek everything, and if you like it, giver gas man. Just remember tethers, and a good P.F.D. I know this kinda stuff isn't for everybody, but I gotta thing for speed too.
  9. Better let me test it for you to make sure it's okay. What was it going on again?
  10. Was in to one of my favorite tackle shops yesterday to pick up jigs and bait. I got looking at the darn 2012 line up of Shimano reels. Of course I had to open all the boxes and fondle them gently.lol I was looking at Curado and Chronarch. Played with them for awhile, and then I asked if he had any 2011 models left. He pulls out the 11 models of the Chrones and they are 340.00 (101D7) the 12's are 220.00. I play with them some more????? We start discussing the price changes, and I'm starting to really like the old 11's more and more. He said everone is buying the new ones and not intersted in the old because of the huge drop in price. And he is gonna get screwed on his remaing stock, or something like that. By now I'm done playing with the 12's and there all back in the boxes and were talking the 11 Cronarchs only. After we exchanged words some more I told him I was interested in two of them if we could make a deal. We made a deal in like 20 seconds. Two Chronarchs for 5 bones. I think I got a good deal. And if not I got the last of the real Chronarchs. Sorry dudes but the new ones just feel strange. I asked him how much, for the bait and he said good luck fishing.
  11. Oops 80.....I wouldn't.
  12. K if it's a 90hp tiller. Don't do it. It depends how solid the boat is etc, running the river or on a lake? If its a 60 and you feel confident your piloting skills are up to the match, go for it. Were not talking insurance here, save it for another thread.
  13. How bigs the motor?
  14. Frankly I don't give a damn. Take it up with the individual privately. By the way there biting good on the river. Just saying
  15. If you don't use a scale then don't answer the question!
  16. True what you said Roy. Funny thing is in B.C. it's hard to find barbless hooks in any of the tackle shops I was in. And if you find them they are really expensive. The way the C.O.'s check your hooks out there is the run the barb over their thumb nail and if it scratches the nail your busted. I recall a few times I would change my hook and forget to pinch the barb and after a half hour or so remember and pinch the barb. Good thing there was no fish cops around at the time.
  17. Roy, do you fish barbless?
  18. Was out in B.C. this summer fishing and was introduced to barbless fishing for the first time. Didn't really know what to think but after doing it it makes total sense to me. B.C. is 100 0/0 barbless for everything throughout the whole province. My experience was that my hook-up, loss ratio was really no different then fishing here with barbed hooks. Was actually quite suprised by that, as I thought I would lose alot more fish. The best part was releasing non targeted fish as the hook pops out with no effort what so ever, and no damage to the fish. Now having experienced barbless fishing I find it odd that its not implemented here in Ontario. My take is it's really no big deal but it's so much better for the fish survival when released. Whats your opinion.
  19. That one is a bit ripe haha. But none the less a very nice fish. I know exactly how you feel. After I caught my first Chinnie this summer after 3 full days of nothing I was shaking so bad I had a hard time rigging my line for the next drift. Totally awesome feeling. Congrats to you.
  20. I would probably buy a nice little spot on the Vedder River in Chilliwack. I spent two weeks this summer fishing that river and it is so beautiful. What an awesome river. It was my first time float fishing for salmon and I am hooked. Caught lots of Sockeyes but they are closed all season and had to be released. My first three days I was skunked but after I figured it out I was into the Red Springs. The absolute best Salmon I have ever tasted. Its a small run so the fishing pressure is miminal. Next year I am going back around the end of Sept, early Oct when the river is full of all the Salmon species. Tarpon fishing on the fly sounds interesting. Have to go to Florida for that one. Peacock Bass fishing for sure and White Sturgeon on the Fraser. World class Lakers on Lake Athabasca and Atlantic Salmon fishing in Newfoundland. That one is already in the works. Just to name a few.
  21. I was checking them out today. They have the same body and look identical except the colour. My first impression ... not to impressed. The Chronarch is a 100 bucks cheaper than the 11 models. They feel cheap, if you know what I mean. I'm gonna wait till I read more reviews. I'm glad I picked up a new Curado 300 and a Chronarch this year.
  22. Looks good. But give me a big tin of Hienz tomato juice and a six pack and i'm good.
  23. I have a pair that has been replaced three times. They always break in the same spot. Right in the centre of the bridge. I took them back to the shop where I bought them and still they havent been replaced. The shop sent them out in february. The shop owner said to me that ever since the company switched ownership it has been a real challenge to get any repairs or warranty done. I'm done with Bluewater and I think he is also.
  24. X2 what Terry said.
  25. That's great, everyone looks like there enjoying themselves. How mant times has the young lad asked you, when are we going again? I still remember my first trip at about the same age.
