Keep at it Governator...Bly and I only started fishing 2 years ago. You have the right attitude and thirst for knowledge to succeed! This board has helped immensely....a wealth of information. We wouldn't have done nearly as well in the past 2 years if it wasn't for OFC. I deserve no credit by the way....you caught the fish!! LOL. My advice was more preventative in nature....I still have a scar from a pike....but it's a great reminder of the fish....kinda like war wounds....haha.

Ummm.... Forget it....

The day was perfect....well except for the fact I was up at 2:30am..... It was overcast and cold to start the day, but once the sun came up, the clouds went away, the sun came out and it was perfect out there. Even had to shed the heavier jacket later in the day. Thanks Mike...as usual, the fishing was great, but the overall experience was phenomenal! Doug...you were a blast to fish with on this day as well...like a kid in a candy store. Whenever you had a fish on, the excitement on your face was just priceless!!! Anyhow, here are the pics.... Doug with his first decent sized Steelie ever....see his "kid in the candy store look?" This guy didn't want to wait around for a picture....so it had a premature release....LOL

Bananas? So...bly and I shouldn't bring any the first weekend of November? What about Banana muffins??LOL. I've heard a few stories about bananas....one that sticks to mind doesn't really have to do with fishing...but with boats in general. Something about some rather unfriendly, posionous snakes, spiders and insects used to accompany them on large vessels importing them to markets....and people dying or getting sick. Too bad on the day...at least you saw lots of them....you knew they were there....half the times we fish we're not even sure if there is any fish where we are....haha.

Awesome stuff Paulus...your pictures have always impressed me! I actually try to emulate some of them with my own fish, but they don't turn out as nice....haha. Awesome report Marko! Some great looking fish there...even that little rainbow. I could sit all day, pull ones that sized out and still love every minute of it.

Amazing...amazing...amazing! Thanks for taking the time to post this report with pictures. I think it's something that everyone on here can relate to in one way or another. All the hard work and dedication has paid off big time....not just with your results, but with what you've learned and the times spent outside with your family and your buddy. I hope to see many many reports from you in the future....you can hear the passion you have for fishing in your words....

Fall fishing is my favourite. The big ones come close to shore, there's trout in the streams, and you don't sweat your butt off!! Great report...some beauty eyes there!

20kms? Wow...that's dedication! Great report troutologist...some fantastic pics...and some nice fish as well. Doesn't get much better than that!

I just spoke to Bly on the phone. She's out fishing an eastern trib this morning...it's rained, she's had ice pellets come down on her and right now it is indeed snowing!!

Nice work Snag...but I gotta ask you. Is it really sporting if you just reach down and pick them up? Isn't netting illegal? Or do you throw lures at them to entice them to bite. I sure hope marshmallows and flossing is not being used here. If you catch them all, then there wont be any left for future generations to enjoy. Remember, it's our kids' future you're messing with here. Nice write up by the way!
