I read this earlier today and felt fine. Went to see a movie with my daughter and my throat started hurting. Now it's on fire, have a headache and some congestion....

The do make floating rods. I saw a kids floating rod...problem is the weight of the reel sinks it....but hey, if a fish hauls that baby into the water and the line snaps AND the reel somehow comes off the handle then you are golden!!! Sorry to hear about the rod....at least a fish took it and you didn't kick it in the water.

We're out on the Bog at least a handful of times a year. It's the closest lake to us....if we only have a few hours, then that's where we go. We venture up to Sturgeon Lake more often...that's our fav Kawartha Lake...good fishing, great friends up there

Hey now Wayne...never read those threads before cause I didn't have a leaky boat then...LOL. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I can swing a hammer...care to offer some details to this inept boat owner? Carole said to just take it to you...I say if there's any boat I should try to repair, it's this one...they'll only get more expensive from here. LOL. Me and fire...not a good combo. But the brand new boat...that's all I needed to hear!!! Hey Bly...Glen said we need a new boat... So I should yell at it and it'll fix itself right??? Yep... What did I ever do to you? LOL I'm definitely out of the loop on that one Jeff!!! Please tell!!!

We noticed last year that there is a spot where the boat leaks a little bit during an outing. Nothing major at all, just put a towel down and wring it out every hour or so. Anyhow, we ripped the carpeting back to take a look and you can see where the boat is dented. Attached are a few of pictures. Here's what the rivets look like...they are not loose at all...just wondering if these look ok...there is a picture of the rivet on the underside next.... Here's the dent from the bottom... So any suggestions on how to fix this up? Oh Wanye...you busy?? LOL

With the 20 degree weather today, I went into the cave where my boat was to see if I could stir it out of winter hibernation! Got it out on the driveway, put some fresh gas in it and pulled the cord. Nothing. Pulled again...nothing. Third times a charm right? Started up nice and strong! Ahhh, that's what I wanted to hear! Listen to her purr...all 18hp of power...LOL. Here's a few more pics...if you see us out on the water this year, be sure to come on over and say hi! As much as we love these fish (caught earlier this week).... We cant wait to get out on the water...there...now it's not a non fishing post...

Not that I didn't thoroughly enjoy ice fishing there this past winter Bernie, but I'm looking forward to fishing there when all that cold stuff has melted!!! Great videos...getting our boat out of the garage today! Unfortunately, it's going to stay there...LOL...maybe take it out soon.
