  1. Good to see you again!!
  2. I had no idea you typed up a report Joe!! Thanks for posting this. Was a GREAT trip with a great bunch of guys. Maybe next time the weather will cooperate....cant believe how cold it was for June!
  3. That's quite the bag of fish there!!! Nicely done!
  4. Big Cliff!! Thanks for the update. I’ve been wondering what you’ve been up to. Glad to see you’ve kept yourself busy (although getting robbed sucked!). Your post actually prompted me to post again on this forum....must be a few years since I’ve done that! Take care! The Smaller Cliff
  5. Oh man. My heart sank when I realized it was Kevin from this board. Praying he’s found safe.
  6. Congratulations Terry!!! Enjoy every minute!!
  7. I just raked the bare spots...put a good amount of seed down, layer of topsoil and made sure it was kept moist. Took a few weeks of constant care but it worked for me. I have a few spots that are thin, so I will repeat in those few spots.
  8. Well, another weekend at Bernie’s is in the books with the usual cast of characters! Conditions were windy and the bite was typical of a cold front, but it’s always great to get up there and catch up with the guys! Friday we arrived around 230ish and decided to not hit the windy lake. Instead, Bernie melted some lead to make some jigs. We then painted them up....these things have always worked great for us and I need to re-stock again! Caught a bunch of smaller walleye on Saturday but Will caught the first 21” one I’ve seen come out of that lake in 8 years on Sunday. Was a great catch to end the weekend. As always, thanks Bernie for hosting us yet again up there! Stay tuned for the Sept 2018 edition....
  9. Was out on my hole lake last weekend. Saturday it was 60F. Sunday late morning it was 70F! Couldn’t believe how quickly it rose!
  10. Lol Brian!! Someone should be using it!
  11. Great condition. Barely used. Don’t have time for river fishing anymore. Retails for $199 USD (about $255 Canadian). Located in Whitby area. Asking $160 or best offer.
  12. It’s been a while since I fished there, but I do miss it! A few solid fish there for sure!
  13. Thanks for posting Lakair was a big part of my summer for many years and your family was a big part of that. Thanks for checking in!
  14. This is the beat feature ever!!
  15. Oh no Cliff. Im so sad to hear the news. She was always so great to me and Sydney. My deepest condolences....
  16. I have no words..... LOL
  17. Hey there G!!!
  18. Thanks everyone! We love it there. Very happy with how it all happened. Wasn't "in the plan", but the opportunity came up and we took it.
  19. I'm aware of the danger zones and my navionics maps have the shoals and rocks mapped out pretty well. The people in the park also shares important info!
  20. It's Layzee Acres.
  21. It's been a while since I've posted, but I thought I'd share that my wife and I have purchased a trailer on Lake Dalrymple. I knew it was a good fishing lake years ago, but I was excited to see what I could pull out of the lake. First, here's our new home away from home...just 70 minutes door to door from our house. [/img] The boat is very happy to be slipped here instead of in the garage! I've been out fishing for about 4 hours total over the course of a few days, but managed a small Muskie, some pike, and a few smallies literally just out from where the docks are. I think I'll like fishing this lake! So much to explore still and I'm starting to figure out where they are hiding. Hopefully will find the odd big fish here and there but for now I'm happy with what I've found so far! The great news is the park allows for free winter storage and a seasonal boat slip is only $300...a bargain as far as I'm concerned!!
  22. Yep. It's big now!
  23. Plug. Extra one that is. Waterproof bag with toilet paper and dry socks.
  24. I think it was Moosebunk who inspired this one.... Fishing Salmon on the Fraser River one day, then Sturgeon the next!! That to me would be an ultimate fishing trip! I'd also like to rent an RV and drive to BC, then down the west cost of the US...across the south and up the east cost to the Canadian maritime provinces. Lastly....own a cottage on a great little fishing lake to retire with my wife.
  25. We were jigging for them Bunk....was perfect weather on the Saturday!
