  1. Congrats on the job! As for the pulled muscle..."relax" heck no...come on over and between the two of us we can finish splitting next years firewood for my shop.
  2. This is why it's critical to get your own copy of the regs and read it fully before heading out on any body of water. Like Misfish said...read the regs. Xrap is correct for Division 4 that you are planning to fish, but for other outings/people reading this thread... Limits apply many places other than Couch and Simcoe. Divisions # 1/2/5/16/17/20/21/22/22A/24/27(Nippissing -where there is also a season!)/28/30/31/32/33/34 all have limits on Perch
  3. How did the poodles sweater hold up Mike?? Great outing guys!
  4. Don...the one you need isn't available at BPS. Only one they don't have on the shelf. They have it in the office at Merland..$20
  5. Just don't let Carp drive the boat while you have the dipsy on....
  6. Let me give your boss a call and see if I can get you back out of chat! LOL I'd join ya...but I gotta get back to work!
  7. Can't help with the Dipsy..but yes Dano and I left Bass Pro exactly at Noon and were pulling into Merland at 2:55/3:05 or so. We were also towing the boat and doing exactly the 100K speed limit all the way down.
  8. Joe...I noticed an error in that book you handed off to me in Picton...I'll be down shortly to work out the details with you....
  9. And to think we went to BOQ for less. Maybe we need to rethink this Cliff and next November we'll all just bunk in with you two ! What a bunch of monsters!
  10. Can't see what you are doing as no code is showing...but keep trying and use the "preview" button to see it it works and then if it does hit the post message button.
  11. Hope you had a safe drive Maureen. Fog is like soup up here...I can't even see the first tree in front of the house from the dining room window. Bet there's black ice out there lurking as well.
  12. Yes Mike...I have to do chores but only because I like to be warm in my shop...not to please the wife! LOL She'll be splitting wood right beside me as always...good exercise and a tractor/hydraulic splitter isn't something you should be doing without a partner...just like fishing.
  13. Gotta say TJ...I'm sure his were much more helpful than mine!
  14. I think your outfitter is slightly misinformed Earl. The meetings I sat thru in Temagami this spring/summer stated what I have typed. If you didn't speak out over the last year or so of public input....you're a day late and Laker short of doing anything about it. Like Darryl Choronzey says...how do you get 4 MNR biologists in a boat? Offer a free trip and the case of beer. Doesn't matter what season or species you are after...anglers use minnows caught in other water bodies to fish with
  15. Thanks Bud!
  16. Buster..I've watched you...U better make that 95/5 ! LOL
  17. Mighty nice of you Chris....most would say bring it by the shop. $ $
  18. Also, when you get to the launch and put your boat in don't be in a hurry to start it. Let the water get in there and loosen up things like the water pump impellor that may be iced to the housing with the last remains of water from the last trip out. Many trailers don't sit high enough to allow the motor to be fully down to drain. If you do it right at waters edge on the ramp it will help with the angle and besides you should be waiting for your trailer to drain there anyhow so the next guy doesn't slide into the lake on your ice.
  19. It's ready Lloyd...we just have to throw the power on and we're good to go bud!
  20. Mike...."but Honey...the garage will still be here next week and the fishing opportunity won't" ! LOL Come on...you can do it..
  21. Was gonna warn you that you'd be breakin ice...but sounded like you were heading to the Moon. I know ALL those spots...didn't produce for us either.... They're out there Dave...still 3 + weeks to find them.
  22. Go get'm Don. We caught ours right beside the freighter ! LOL
  23. Well...with my boat dropped off for it's trade in yesterday..guess I have no excuse now not to get my firewood split and stacked ...so I have wood for next winter.
  24. Yep...It's what I keep repeating here...but pretty sure there will a month from Feb 15 to Mar 15 that you'll be able to fish for Lakers (like Lake Temagami has been for about a decade). If the lake has been stocked in the last couple years you will be able to fish it all winter...but if not Feb 15 to Mar 15 only. Hopefully for those that want to fish this winter...the regs will be 4 months late coming out (and possibly part of why they are late coming out...simply to buy another year before the protests really start)
  25. HEY! That microwave was under powered...simple as that. It was the night before with me trying to make that side kick rice you found entertaining fella!
